Rudy, the owner of American Aviation was very friendly and accommodating during our July 29th, 2006 stop over at 00V

Flew in 17 Sept and parked under an old "T" shade run by American Avia. I asked the gentleman that ran the place (had been there before) to add fuel in each wing tank. Said that we would be back in two weeks. My son had stopped by to pay the fuel and parking fees. The parking was $129.00, way overpriced for the condition of the facility. Upon departure, the battery was too low for cranking so I went back into the FBO to ask about a "jump start". We would have to remove the battery and bench charge it. It took almost a 1/2 hour for him to finish his conversation with a customer before he finally got out to the shop. By this time, we already had the charger hooked-up to the battery. He did not like that. An hour later, we re-installed the battery ourselves. American charged an additional $32.00 for the use of the charger. I felt that this was unwarranted when considering the exhorbitant price for parking. Will not likely use this FBO in the future.
