I have been in and out of Jackpot several times recently (June & July 09), well before/after business hours. I have announced my need to purchase fuel on CTAF and have been acknowledged by maintenance staff at the hotel on the radio...After landing and taxing up to the pump, I've been greeted by nice people and the service has been quick and hassle free...Although you do have to walk into the smoke filled casino to pay, approx 300 yds, it gives a great opportunity to stretch and get a complimentary soda or coffee inside...I do recommend this place as quick, easy, clean, and professional.

Fuel is sold only during RV park office hours, which now run something like 1015 - 1700. It would be wise to call ahead (Cactus Pete's) to determine the exact working hours for your arrival day.

This used to be a really cheap place to get gas but that has definitely changed. They are currently charging $0.70 a gallon more for self service (and it is self service despite what is currently stated on AirNav) than KENV (Wendover) currently charges for full service (and it is full service). Go to Wendover! The casinos are looser, the gas is cheaper, and they have an actual IFR approach.

I stopped in for fuel and breakfast on my way back to VNY from Sun Valley, on July 6, 2008. You summon a fellow from the hotel, who turns the pump on, then gives you a ticket when you are done. You take the ticket to the hotel desk (about half mile but they have a shuttle) and pay. Restaurant was pretty good for basic breakfast.

Stopped by June 26, 2007 for fuel, and spent the night at the Hotel Casino. There is no "FBO". The adjacent RV Park administers the fuel sales. The RV park hours (and fueling hours) are (currently) from 10 am to 8 pm. You pump your own fuel, but they have to come out and turn the pumps on and off. Casino Hotel was pleasant and modern, but the only Internet access is in lobby, on their two computers. (By the way, Hotel was $70 + hefty lodging tax; a cheaper, older one is across the street at $49 + tax). No breakfast available until 7 am.

None of the phone numbers listed on this page are answered.. So I can't check the price of fuel or even know if they have any... This was to be a fuel stop on a long cross country.

Utterly impossible to contact anyone at the airport by phone. Casino phone attendant not knowledgeable about airport and couldn't even successfully transfer the call but got the new phone number: 755-2447. Definitely call beforehand to not waste a trip.

A nice airport in great condition. Fuel is available during daylight hours by calling the casino (Cactus Pete's) on 122.8. I called 5 miles out and they were waiting for me when I got there. They have to turn on the pump, but after that you do your own fueling. The RV Park office (also run by Cactus Pete's) is where you normally pay for fuel, but in the winter it's closed, so you'll be escorted to the casino itself to pay. As long as you're not in a big hurry this process works fine. The RV Park is adjacent to the airport, but the casino is about 1/4 mile from the airport ramp. If you're staying overnight, there are several lodging options. Cactus Pete's is the main hotel/casino, and it also operates the Horseshu Hotel (which is a little cheaper) across the street. Check-in for the Horseshu is also at Cactus Pete's, so make sure you stop there before heading over to the Horseshu.

A nice stop in the middle of nowhere. There is a taxiway in place parallel to runway. 15 ends has taxiway to parking; FBO building is located in nearby RV Park.
