Landed at 0R0 with a miss in the right engine. Joel at Wilson Aviation was right there to help. When he found a broken valve he started on the repairs right away and worked all the way thru Saturday into the evening replacing the cylinder to get us going again. I hope the local people know what a great asset they have with Joel at the airport. Thanks Joel

Runway and taxiways in excellent condition. Brand new self-serve fuel pump with credit card machine great for arrivals when no attendants present. Nice quiet little place!

Very friendly, cordial folks. I stopped in on my way to New Orleans Lake Front in order to get as much less expensive fuel in the tanks as possible. My arrival on early Saturday afternoon was no problem on the day I visited since the staff was around; they mentioned though that they are not always open on Sat / Sun. I also learned that at the time of my visit they did not accept any credit cards, checks and cash were welcome. Nonetheless, a very pleasant place to stop for reasonably priced fuel.
