I was refused fuel. He says he does not sell fuel to transient aircraft; it is for aircraft base at 2D1 only

Response from Forrest Barber, Barber Aircraft
The fellow with the 170 on May 27 only needed to call ahead of time. I was closed, we were low on fuel for the week-end, I keep it for our customers. He only stopped because we were the lowest price. I would have sold him enough to get him on his way but he was okay to get to the next stop. I ALWAYS call ahead with the crunch we are in now.

I stopped here on a trip from Kenosha, Wisconsin to the Philly area, in my Tripacer. They were very friendly, and in the process of setting up a tent for Young Eagles the next day. The manger explained that even though they are officially closed on Monday, they are usually there. By the way, the fuel for sale is on the south end of the field- the tank at the north end is for the Skydive club only.
