Stopped going to and from SNF for fuel. We love the self-serve and the facilities are excellent. We stayed at the local Hampton Inn--they even came out to get us and had free beer at their happy hour! There's also an excellent locally owned BBQ right down the street from the hotel. Perry is a great stop.

Nice FBO, very courteous and attentive when my crew landed. Only downside was my leaving a message on the phone number listed 850-838-3519 at 11:35am and not ever being called back. Wireless Internet service access was very helpful. No courtesy car available on 01/10/08, but was picked up by the local car rental at the airport (thanks Perry Ford). Good place to work out of, will keep 40J as a favorite place to hop to in the future.

Stopped in Perry on 4/7/07 in a Mooney. Great self-service fuel stop with a very good price. The new terminal -- and restrooms -- is very nice. A very quick stop. Will use again. Thanks

1/11/2007 Excellent airport with nice terminal. My first experience with self-serve. Easy to use, and good price (broadcast on AWOS).

First time at Perry. Great runways. Unattended but easy self-serve fuel at advertised (broadcast) price. Beautiful terminal lounge was open and even some donuts provided. Nice restrooms. A local BBQ place will pick you up too! Highly recommended fuel stop.

Great airport good SS fuel price, which as mentioned earlier, is on the AWOS. Wish all airports would do the same. New terminal is very nice. We used the Hampton Inn to overnight; they were very prompt picking us up and returning us the next morning. The breakfast is very good and the desserts and drinks in the evening were great. The price was very reasonable. We have used 40J many times and it has only gotten better.

Not much air activity at Perry-Foley, but lots of runways in great shape. The terminal is new and very impressive. Yes, the fuel price is on the AWOS, a great idea. Mr. Tommie Stanaland provides outstanding service he is a professional. Ground transport to food available. Highly recommend this airdrome.

FBO went beyond the call of duty in supplying fuel this morning in spite of damage to the authentication equipment on the fuel farm. I had to divert to Perry last night and although I did have enough fuel to reach the next airport their efforts greatly simplified my trip home. The new FBO looks great. I will be back!!!

I have been through Perry a couple of times and find it to be a great place to stop for fuel. The people that I have met have been very friendly and helpful!

I stopped at Perry-Foley on a cross country trip that started in Los Angeles. Perry was the most friendly place I stopped so far! They even have their fuel price on the ATIS. Thank you!

40J no longer has jet fuel available. This is an indefinite condition. Please remove reference to Jet fuel availability. Thanks, Tommie Stanaland, Airport Manager

I stopped here on Friday, April 7 to get fuel. I had to wait while the tanker unloaded fuel into the Perry tank. The Manager told me he was bothered by the fact that he would have to raise the price of fuel as the price was higher on the new load. The fuel tanks have been relocated. A new FBO/Terminal is under construction, the AWOS now works so this once badly neglected airport is on the mend. While I was on the field about 7 airplanes landed for fuel. That is a good thing. The continuous spriral of ever increasing avgas is bad. The FBO apprently is now manned and open on a regular basis

Sun 'n' Funners watch out for "bait and switch" tactics! Fuel price of $3.01 on the way to S&F 2006 jumped to $3.47 on the way back. Shame on you, Perry Jet Fuel!
Response from Tommie Stanaland, Perry Jet Fuel, Inc. I attempted to post a message before we raised fuel prices April 7th to avoid negative opinions, but was not successful. Due to increased fuel delivery prices we were forced to increase prices. Fuel will remain 30 cent per gallon discounted through April 15 in support of Sun-n-Fun Fly-in. Prices are appended to AWOS observations and can be monitored on 118.375 or (850) 584-8815. Please accept our apology for any inconveniences

Perry Airport is very rural area with only 2-3 aircraft based here. We have recently updated to a new AWOS. The fuel prices are reasonable and someone, either the airport manager or veteran service officer, is usually at the airport between 8-5 at the big white hangar office.

Oct 19, 2005 Stopped on the way back from Orlando because of the posted prices on airnav.com $3.15 vs. well over $5.00 at MCO. The AWOS was inop and no one would answer on unicom but I could see the fuel farm so I took a chance and stopped. Self serve and $3.15 a gallon and I never saw a soul, what a deal! I was out of there in 20 minutes with 80 gallons of fuel, I will return.

I stop in at Perry when I'm heading to north-central, or south Florida. Of all the times I've been there, only once have I heard traffic on the CTAF, and it was just one plane. The ramp is perpetually deserted. That's ok, it just means there's no line for the fuel pump.
