We flew in and stayed for 3 days in July 2007 in one of the rustic, clean and very reasonably priced cabins. Bar prices are very reasonable and the restaurant was great. Best of all however are the owners Tex and Heidi. They really make you feel welcome as Tex is a pilot and when available a good courtesy car is on site. One note of caution however is that Tex reported that the runway is not 3000' as listed on the chart but 2600'. It is very smooth and well maintained. If you want to just fly in for breakfast make sure to call ahead as of this time they normally open at 11am.

Great and friendly place to visit. Made to feel very welcome by the owner/pilot Tex Irwin. Although not for beginners, it has reasonable approaches and runway. Suggest you call ahead and talk to Tex for advice on approaches and landing. If he knows you are coming and you make your radio calls he will probably answer you on the radio and give you the winds. Nice restaurant and accommodations at the airport. Good fishing within walking distance.
