Gas prices were very reasonable. Apparently no public restroom after hours, which apparently includes weekends. Call 972-453-0181 to pick up an IFR clearance prior to takeoff.

The cafe is one of the best. I recommend making this a place to eat if you are remotely close. Leaving Sunday morning it was very hard to find a restroom. I ended up using a tree but I was told later that down the road there are hangers that might be open. Make sure if you go on off hours (Sunday at 0900 was off) that you plan for that.

The Blue Hangar Cafe now has a gyro platter (the Greek food, not the thing that spins in your instrument panel). Yummy!

Warm, Friendly service. Good fuel prices and a very helpful attitude. Waived landing fees and tie down fees with gas purchase...Thank you!!

If NW Regional is a little short on amenities (The excellent Blue Hangar Cafe being an exception of course) it's long on friendly service. Bob Everett and his partners at MarcAir (see website) went out of their way to hunt down parts and make repairs for me on a Sunday so I could leave as scheduled Monday morning. Bob is a superb and trustworthy mechanic so you're in good hands at 52F. Landing fees, if there are any, were waived with a fuel purchase.

I flew in with the girlfriend recently. The airport manager was defiantly a good ole boy. He drove over and offered to help. We fueled up with the self-serve and paid I think $2.89. The manager gave excellent directions to the person picking us up and we will defiantly be going in there again.
