Still a great stop. I have been here before but, called ahead to let them know that I was running an Angel Flight and might arrive shortly after they closed the pumps at 1700 (L). They offered to wait until we arrived and topped us off. You just don't find service like this that often these days. What a fantastic stop!

A great stop. Fuel is very reasonable, the facility is spotless, and Norm is always a pleasure to talk to, and very prompt at attending to the customer's needs. Weather and vending machines are provided. There isn't a courtesy car to go get a meal so plan accordingly. Thanks again Norm for another pleasant stop. I hope you had fun in PA with your son.

Nice people and great fuel prices at Allendale -- they provide an alternative to the higher prices on the coast, and are a good mid-point fuel stop on the way to and from Florida.

Stopped for fuel. On approach, UNICOM alerted me to a NORDO crop duster on departure. I was met at the pumps as I shut down and topped off. The pump is not self-service. Prices are very competitive. The FBO has a computer and clean restrooms. Recommend 88J strongly.

Allendale...A jewel in SC. Stopped on my way north in a Champ due to a thunderstorm brewing and needing fuel. The folks were more than gracious offering help (to protect the fabric aircraft) and advice. Great fuel prices, clean facility and wonderful people. Thank you...

Stopped recently for an Angel flight pickup. Great fuel prices, nice facility, and even though the pump is self-serve, we were met by friendly staff that helped us fuel. I think this is a great airport to stop at.

Great place to stop on East coast North/South trips. They always seem to have the cheapest fuel, a friendly staff and a nice new terminal with great facilities, I.E. Weather, Internet etc. By far our favorite fuel stop. The only thing they need to complete the facility is a crew car to get to local restaurants.

We arrived in a Piper Seneca enroute to Savannah. The airport manager is very friendly and greeted us when we walked in the FBO. Very nice facilities here including very clean restrooms.

Great place to stop! Norm is a pleasure to talk to and very efficient. New FBO is very nice, with weather, clean restrooms including showers, and low priced snacks. Fuel is cheaper than most and they pump it. Flying from southeastern Ohio to Fort Myers, FL it's right on the flight path and about the half waypoint.

Stopped in for fuel on my way to ORL. It was the second day in their new facility and they were still moving a few things in. Very friendly staff and good fuel services. Nice runway and brand new FBO. If you are close, absolutely no reason not to stop in and get some fuel, best price in the area.

Left Hilton Head for Asheville and stopped in for fuel. Very good price on fuel. Met Ben who fueled us up and was very informative about the aiport history. New small FBO looks a month or 2 away but will be nice. Although I am a fairly new pilot (120 hrs.), this is what I would think a general aviation airport should model itself after.

Another great visit to Allendale. The 100LL is still $3.98 and the service is top notch. They are building a new modern FBO facility that should be open by May 2008. Until then a small trailer is set up. It has all that is needed except a courtesy car, but snacks and drinks are available. Well worth the stop.

Ditto on all those positive comments. Small and friendly. We're making it a regular refueling stop on our Ohio-to-Florida family travels.

I stopped here in May and again in October. Very helpful lineman and office employees. No courtesy car but let me use a personal vehicle to get breakfast. Fuel was cheap without self-serve. Not much in town but the wireless Internet was working.

Excellent fuel stop. Met me at the plane and fueled immediately at a really good full service price. Facility is a trailer, but is clean and has a bathroom and phone for flight service. I don't need anything else. Easy airborne IFR pickup with JAX as well.

Stopped for fuel on 9/27/07. Friendly full service fuel. Small FBO is clean and has weather computer. Easy in and out of airport. Self-Serve would be nice for after hours.

Flew into Allendale on the 11th of September. Bill met us at the pumps and was very friendly and courteous. Runway and taxiway are both in great shape. Will be back there soon.

I was in a couple of week ago for fuel. I had a hard time finding the airport but once I did I landed fine. An older gentleman met us on the ramp and got me fueled up. He was very nice and made chitchat with my wife while I was checking weather. The FBO's computer was not working but he had his personal laptop there that I was able to use. A great stop.

Diverted to 88J for weather - would have been happy to land ANYWHERE. I was promptly greeted by a very nice gentleman who fueled my plane, got me some oil and directed me to the internet connection as their computer was down. He even gave me a nice send-off as I disappeared back in to the soup. Great stop, great fuel price - very friendly personnel. A must return!

Excellent fuel stop with Norman fueling our aircraft, however, rather spartan facilities, but with all the basics. Less expensive fuel @ $3.85/gal.

Stopped for fuel on 14 APR 2007. Great place! Nothing fancy, but clean, and friendly. Runway and grounds are well kept. Cheapest fuel I found @ $3.30 per gal. They pump it and the attendant was very nice. I will stop again anytime I'm heading in that direction. Its $1.74 per gallon cheaper than I had paid in Savannah @ KSAV a few days earlier.

Stopped by twice in April for fuel. Very nice attendant. Full Service fuel for the price of self-serve (cheapest fuel along our route). Only complaint is you have to stop by during business hours or call ahead since there is no self-serve credit card machine. Our return trip was on Good Friday, but they were still open. Apparently they're open 7 days a week except Christmas Day. I highly recommend these guys.
