A friend of mine and I stopped here in our M16 Gyroplanes due to severe storms in our path. Gary (Airport Manager) and his staff made arrangements for us to be able to fit the 2 aircraft into a hangar and let us take the courtesy van overnight to a hotel. They gave us information about the restaurants and hotels, and were there early the next morning to get us refueled and on our way. The airport is very well maintained, the fuel is not expensive, the area is very scenic, and it is a great place to stop for fuel, food or the night. We greatly appreciated their hospitality, and we are planning to stop here on future trips.
