The place got hit by a microburst about a year ago. Really tore things up. Cool little old school strip. The fuel price was correct here on AirNav for the corresponding date of 07/13/09 of $4.40/gal. It seems to me like fuel prices are current on this website. Yes there are Ag planes sitting down at the departure end of runway 35. No they are not a big deal. There is a fairly large displaced threshold that gives you plenty of room to clear those guys. I wish more people would fly into these places to keep them "alive." It seems these days’ people are punished for flying airplanes. It is a cool little place. Check it out. Self-serve pump nothing else.

Stopped in for fuel. Holy crap that place is dead! Hangars are demolished and fuel is expensive. Beware of the crop dusters parked just short of the runway. You have to fly OVER them to land. Its awkward, but not really bad, if I recall, there's a displaced threshold. Gas is way too expensive for this trashy place. Head south to EED Needles Airport. The guys there were nice. And about 60cents cheaper!

Airport on its way to disrepair. Be warned that the FBO is no longer and you will be told in no uncertain terms that it is a private residence if you mistakenly try to enter. This even though the signage on the building in 6" letters stated "Welcome to Eagle Airpark". Kinda funny actually. Just glad that this "deliverance diva" wasn;t packin cause she would have shot me fer sure!!
