Beautiful airport in a beautiful location. Flew in to visit some people living on the airport and found everyone there very friendly and passionate about aviation. Cannot wait to go back!

Oh no! Flew to Pine Mountain Lake today for lunch, and discovered a note on the door of the Corsair Cafe that said, "As of April 16th, the restaurant is closed". That's sad- I've eaten there before and really enjoyed it. Whatever circumstances closed it, I hope someone picks it back up. For now, it looks like no restaurant on the field anymore...

Caution - Sometimes the handle on the fuel nozzle sticks open. Double check it before turning the pump on or get ready to clean up the mess. Great place to stop with a nice bathroom and a little restaurant. Great people to chat with while waiting for fog to clear in the valley. I last stopped in on 2-8-08.

Stopped by for lunch and a fill up (avgas) on 9-9-07. Fuel was $3.99/gallon and lunch at the Corsair Cafe was tasty, as always. One warning: the Corsair Cafe doesn't take credit cards or ATM, and there's no ATM machine within walking distance, so be sure you bring cash! Try the steak sandwich...A thick juicy slab of sirloin in a sourdough roll. Can't be beat!

Fuel service works fine. Did a rafting trip with my son with ARTA Company and they picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Great trip.

Stayed at All Seasons Groveland Inn. Phone (209) 9621942. A great B&B. The owner Ann Schafer will pick you up from and take you back to the airport. She also has a mini ranch B&B with 2 rooms and a home with 2 rooms that she rents. The prices vary from $125 to $180. She's a great hostess and very accommodating. Give her a call. I'm sure you'll enjoy her hospitality. We flew from Van Nuys to Pine Mountain on 5/24/07.
