Arrive here to park airplanes while Hurricane Ike flew over Houston. Nice pilot's lounge, but true...No amenities or vending machines for pilots. That would be nice. Most important, fellow pilots at the airport helped us immensely while we were there. Yep, no fuel (or so said the sign), yet fellow pilots helped us greatly to expedite our trip back to Houston. A hearty thanks to you guys! We owe you.

Upon arriving on a brief fuel stop, I discovered the advertised rate on AirNav of $4.11 for 100LL was now $4.80. Nice runway but different no other amenities. Fuel price in line with other East Texas airports.

Stopped here on Sat., and then again on Wed. Not a sole in site. Need to know the Emergency” Transponder" code to get to the restrooms. Very nice "Pilots Lounge". But know that the only attractions are cheap easy to use fuel and very quiet. There is nothing else here...

Stopped for a quick top off and found some of the cheapest fuel in the area. Self-serve and the cc worked the first time no problems. A few tie downs, nothing special. I'll be back for gas and try to hit that bbq next time.

Stopped in and gassed up. The place is nice BUT.. No weather computer that I could find, but more important no vending machines in lobby. No nothing, no food, no drink, no courtesy car, no, no, no. Nice bathrooms. Nice runway but nothing else. I hope they add a few things soon. Will stop again but I will have to pack a lunch before I come in next time..

Stopped for fuel. Pumps work. Pilot's lounge clean and inviting. I'd stop again if in the area.

Very nice Airport. We stopped for fuel on Thanksgiving in route to New Orleans. Pump worked great. Pilots lounge was locked, but you can get in with an Xponder emergency code. Very clean.

Stopped in on 25 November 2005, and was pleasantly surprised by the Self Serve fuel price - only $2.81. Terminal building was nice and clean, looked new. No flight planning facilities observed, but the payphone worked great for calling flight service. Great facility for a quick turn.
