The GW Aviation guys were very friendly and accommodating. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Had a wonderful experience. Unicom was quick to my query where to tie down, and the rental car was ready (through Enterprise) to sign for. Clean washrooms, good flight planning room, excellent directions to the AF Museum. Good people! Thank you!

What a great stop! Stopped in Dayton to see my daughter for a few days, they had a rental car ready for me, no hassles. They assisted me with fueling my plane, very friendly staff, and more importantly, an FBO cat! It's a poor FBO that doesn't have a kitty.

The folks running this FBO are friendly & extremely helpful! On hearing the severe weather forecast for the evening, they offered to hangar our plane for the night. They have a Pilot Supplies' shop, and leaned way forward to meet our needs. Make this a must-stop on your cross-country thru the Dayton OH area!

These guys are great! They provided the rental car with absolutely no headache or delay. When I elected to use the self-serve pumps to save money, the lineman still helped me push my plane across the ramp and did the actual refueling. This will be my preferred stop if I'm in the area.

Flew in to go to USAF Museum. Steve was great. He was friendly, informative, and even loaned us his personal vehicle for the day. Easy drive to the museum.

Made an unscheduled visit in April 2009 to the field with a complete power out condition while in IMC. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the results of service and advice provided by GW Aviation. Within one hour of departing after repairs we experienced the same conditions - thankfully in bright sunny skies. The comments by GW suggests they blame me for the lack of thoroughness although I engaged them to get the plane airworthy - did not challenge their advice - and believe I was clear in our requirements. Anyway, definitely worth your extra caution if you engage them for services. They are pleasant enough and probably try hard but considering the information I shared with them about the recent history and my requirements I would've expected a better result and less of a "what do you want me to do about it" attitude after the most recent event.

We arrived on Saturday March 21, 2009 to visit the air museum. Steve was very helpful, informative and friendly. He made us feel welcome and even loaned us his own car when the courtesy car was not available. We are telling all our flying friends to stop by this airport because of the service we received from Steve. Brian from Wilmington, NC

Visited GW Aviation on 1/24/09 to go to Wright Patterson. I had called the day before to request a rental car. The car was ready and waiting as requested. When I had arrived, the weather was marginal, and it was snowing. I asked if they could plug in my C182, they said that they would get an extension cord. When we came back from the museum, we saw that they had put my plane in the hangar for no charge. This was a pleasant surprise, and it was nice to pre-flight and get all the pax in the plane in a warm hangar. This was my third experience with this FBO, and they all have been great. Fuel is a little on the high side, but the service is great!

First time in to go to the Air Force Museum (best location). Car was ready. Early cold winter, they fueled me then pulled me to where I could plug in Tanis. Great friendly service. Support this place; it's what flying is all about.

The great service continues. When we arrived on 12/3/08 the hangar and rental car were ready. When we left (early AM 12/6/08) the weather was cold and snowing. We did the preflight in the hangar, boarded the aircraft and the owner towed us out of the hangar. Now that is service! These guys are consistently very good and deserve your business.

Flew up from Florida on business in Dayton and stayed for 3 weeks. Could not have asked for better service or better place to park. The staff helped out at every turn. They coordinated a rental car with a great rate and insured it was ready to go when I arrived. Highly recommend.

Flew in on 9/19/08 for a visit to the AF Museum. One of the Larry's booked my rental car for me on 9/18, and the other Larry fueled my plane and provided a map to the AF museum. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable ... Great FBO and service!

We called ahead to secure hangar space for our 1940 Waco UPF-7. Larry took great care of us on fueling and on assisting us in getting a rental car. Provided maps to the USAF Museum and the local area. Couldn't have been more helpful.

Arrived here on 22 July with a 9 ship of Cessnas on the way to the International Fly-In at Clinton, Iowa. We came here because of good "word-of-mouth" advertising and we were not disappointed! The management, maintenance, and service was outstanding. We spent a day at the USAF Museum nearby while they fueled and serviced our planes. My plane lost a vacuum pump and they managed to have it fully repaired by the time I got back to the airport the next day. Great job, guys! The Cessna 150/152 Club of America thanks you!

Stopped at I19 twice in the last month on for business. Last pilot had accidentally flown away with rental car keys. No problem, the guys loaned me their vehicle, then brought a rent car to my hotel the next day. When hail was forecast, they hand towed my plane (hand towing much appreciated for Mooney’s!) from the tie downs to the hangar. I fly about 275 hrs/year, and G W Aviation is one of the best FBOs I see.

Excellent service! A few months ago I had to land at 1100 pm. The guys at GW Aviation stayed late after hours to catch my plane and provide me with a rental car. Definitely stopping through next time.

On Friday night, Sept.28, I had to tie down and overnight my C172 at Greene County. This is an excellent facility, which is also well run. The fuel prices were a little higher than what I was accustomed to, but a check on AirNav of other area FBO's revealed their price for 100LL is slightly below the average price of fuel for the Dayton area. I will stop here again when I'm in the area. Oh yes, and watch for deer on the runway!

GWA has been my FBO of choice since its inception; however the team just rose to a new level. I just finished an "owner assist" annual on my C310, and despite the normal "dread" an owner feels at annual time, this annual was an awesome experience. GWA's IA, Mark, is a great teacher and has the patience of a saint!! The rest of the team, Dave, Steve, Bob, Dee, Larry, etc were outstanding support throughout this learning experience. If you want to save a few bucks, get more intimate with your aircraft, and learn a ton, set up your next annual with these guys and be there while it's being done. It will be an eye-opening and worthwhile experience! I'll be back next year. Thanks!!

For aviators that carry bicycles, there is a way to bike to the Air Force Museum from I19 on the nearby paved bike trail system. Go down the hill from the airport and cross a 4 lane road at the light. At about 1.75 miles, the road goes over the bike trail. Go west on the Creekside bike trail to Eastwood Park in Dayton, but don't enter the park. Continue northeast on the 4-lane road in front of the park entrance, and the museum entrance is about 1 - 2 miles further. The total distance is about 15 miles from the airport. Nice FBO, good service.

I visited family in Dayton and stopped at Green County. The folks at I19 were very hospitable and offered use of their facilities and free lunch. I was offered fuel but declined because of air density and weight. Importantly, the co-owners understood and still welcomed us. Lastly, the ATC folks in Dayton gave me direct over Cox International and Wright-Patterson. I will be back!

A wonderful airport with top-notch service!!! My co-owner and our two sons returning home to KY and without much notice decided to spend an afternoon at Wright Patterson A/F Museum. Not unlike a comment below we did not have prior arrangements for a car and found out that Enterprise was closed on Saturday (Fathers Day weekend) the Owner made a few calls and said you are all set, I will drive you to town a few miles away and wait for you to get the car, you can follow me back pick up your passengers, and when you're done with the car just drop it off at the airport and I will return it for you. WOW what service. Thanks Again

These guys are great; we were well taken care of. Would recommend the very new Marriot, which is closer to the museum for about 10 bucks more per night than the local Holiday Inn, which is more expensive on the weekends.
