Great little airport. Fuel price is best around. 4.20 for 100LL and 3.50 for Mogas.

Excellent fuel stop on 11/19/06. Card reader worked fine. Busy airport with glider tows and arriving and departing aircraft on two good turf runways. Will stop again.

The fuel pump credit card reader was replaced late in 2005 and the new one is now working flawlessly. Fuel prices are usually the best in the area and you won't find a nicer bunch of guys and gals to help you out or just do some hangar flying with.

Stopped here for fuel. Pumps have not worked for over a week. The guy with the key is gone out of town. NO NOTAM has been posted, I double checked with FSS. When I asked the person behind the desk why the garbage bag was over the card reader I got a dumb look and mumbled reply that they did not know. I finally got the story from a CFI in the back room. I asked about tieing down and a motel and got another look like I had arrived from Mars. Loaded up and went to Johnson County Executive, OJC and was treated like I had flown in a Gulfstream even though I arrived in a Rag Wing Piper. Gardner calls itself "The Best Little Airport in Kansas" I sure would hate to see the rest of them.
