Stopped here on the way out west. It was a good place for a quick turn around. They have free water and snacks for the pilot, which is great if you don’t want to waste, time having lunch.

Albany, Georgia was a weather stop on my flight from St. Pete to Birmingham, AL. People were nice, got a full window cleaning on the C172, and they towed my plane into the hangar without asking when the squall line started coming in (I was at dinner with the free Crew Car). Gas not cheap, but the self-serve option is very reasonable. Nice stopover. Thanks for the hospitality!

We were in Albany visiting family 6-16-08 to 06-24-08 and used Landmark. We had called ahead and made arrangements for hangar space which was waiting for us upon our arrival. The linemen were excellent and extremely helpful, I don't remember his name but his father is from Buffalo NY, this guy always seemed to be working and always made us feel welcome. Our bird was well taken care of and access to it was no problem as we checked up on it several times to do some work prior to departing. We were given a discount off the quoted fee for the hangar space and given every courtesy. We will most certainly use Landmark again when in Albany. Nice Job!

The self service pump is working great. Very nice, new equipment and easy to use. Landmark does not have any charts or approach plates for sale. Amazing for a regional airport. You can however buy a stuffed bear for only $9.00 including tax. Or a Landmark mug for only $6.00. MGR only a few miles away has all the charts. Albany is a great little airport.

Flew into Albany for Christmas visit with in-laws Dec 21 thru 24. After extremely bad experience in May of 06 I was reluctant to ever return and had been landing at Dawson. IMC caused me to have to plan for Albany however. The experience with Landmark has vastly improved. Linemen were on the spot, desk was friendly and quick, plane was hangared even though I requested only a tie down and all fees were waived with top off.

Although I didn't need any fuel or services this trip, the folks here were courteous and waived the ramp fee.

ABY is installing self-service 100LL; will be operational about August 1st.

Made a fuel stop on a cross country and the facility, service and staff were very good to deal with. Had not been there before. Fuel cost of $5.05 for 100LL was most I've paid recently, despite that fact that I've been in some much larger airports in last few weeks. A very strong NW wind combined with a favorable runway at Albany is reason I stopped despite fuel prices.

Flew in on 3/30/07 and left on 3/31/07. Of this trip, this was the most accommodating of the FBOs. The linemen met my Mooney. They brought the rental car to the plane. I went inside, signed the paperwork and left. The place my plane in a hangar as requested. They had the plane fuel and ready to go when I asked. They even took the rental car from me at my plane to help expedite my departure. Overall, for an overnight, this is a good value and a very good experience.

Highly recommended! Had a trip to Albany last weekend and could not have had a better experience. The Landmark crew is great and go out of their way to make this a GA friendly FBO. I taxied up to the ramp in my 172 and having parked next to three Gulfstreams, one Beechjet, King Air and a Cirrus I was expecting to be lost down the line. Not only was I topped before I finished unloading my baggage, they give me a weekend discount of fuel, and my bird got to sleep in the hangar for two nights for no charge. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

I was in here twice this week and couldn't have been happier. I was met both times in my Pilatus PC-12 by two linemen and had first class service. Lineman and linewoman happily helped load and unload a ton of luggage. I'll be back in a month and look forward to it! Thanks guys!

Came into ABY saturday night for a function and could not have had a better experience. Taxied to Landmark where a very helpful line crew parked my plane and had my rental car (a whopping $22 for a standard size from Avis) waiting with keys in the ignition. A signature on the rental agreement and I was out the gate. Prefect FBO for my needs and very helpful. Thanks for an enjoyable trip to Albany.

I land at ABY and visit Landmark nearly every week on business. The Line Service is always quick and reliable. The Customer Service Representatives are pleasant and friendly. The facilities are "Top Notch, " always neat and clean. Out of all the FBO's I've visited, this one ranks at the top of the "Best Value."

Made a quick stop to drop off 2 engine mounts for Kosola. They were very friendly, helpful, and helped me out with some things that they certainly weren't required to. However, their fuel price will stop a charging rhino. If you must come here, you'll get good service. If you're on a budget, however, you might want to look elsewhere.

Arrived 11am June 11 for lunch in Albany. Was told I would have to be charged $30 landing/ramp fee or I could take 8 gallons of fuel. Opted for the fuel and I doubt I will be in any hurry to return. The lady behind the desk was very nice and appeared to be trying to do her job.

Mr. Vest. May I apologize on behalf of the aviation community here in Albany Georgia? I saw your Mooney and it bought tears to my eyes. The masking was not even off the tail number, and it smelled new. Albany is a great town full of great people, but what we do not have is an FBO. Landmark Aviation, or as we know it here "Landfill Aviation" is a disgrace to this community. They claim to be a "Full Service FBO" but do not even carry IFR charts or batteries. They cater only to the big jets that spend money. It is our desire to get rid of them, and replace them with a more GA friendly FBO. Any information you wish to send to me will be forwarded to our County Aviation Commissioners. My email is Aviation@AndrewTent.Com or phone 229 883-4400.

On Saturday 5/20/06 I landed my new Mooney at KABY. I taxied to Landmark Aviation and waited for a lineman. After a wait he appeared and motioned me forward while walking behind my right wing. We continued in this manner with me looking back for directions, until he directed me to turn right. I did so, stopped and he motioned me forward. I immediately struck a hangar door support near the left end of the wing. The lineman said he didn't see it. Landmark management called it an "unfortunate incident", took no responsibility, and charged me for the temporary repair. The manager stated that pilots are under no obligation to follow the lineman’s directions. I suggest you park yourself and ignore the lineman at this airport. Better yet, ignore Landmark Aviation if at all possible.

Larger woman behind the counter tried to make me pay a ramp fee! She was not as nice as the usual lady behind the counter and didn't understand that I will not buy fuel everytime I stop in, but I will by large quantities of fuel when I do buy it. I am in ABY quite often and usually they are really nice!

I use Landmark on a regular basis. The only problem I have is they park me way in the back sometimes. If I buy fuel, the price has been about $.21 less than advertised on AirNav. Very nice and courteous staff with great Georgia personality.

I called Landmark from KEYW on 02-19-06 and asked the fuel crew if they could stay for a fuel stop. I was told "we will stay". On arrival no one was at the FBO. I then asked airport security about a call out for fuel. "No" was the answer. The FBO does not post an after hours emergency number. Once I landed, my A-36 was in the yellow, as per POH I could not take off again. This caused transfer to a hotel, room for the night and transfer back. Guys if you tell a pilot you will be waiting, please do stay. Please post an after hours number on your entrance door.

I had a good experience with Landmark. The $4.08 per gallon for fuel was a bit high, but the service was great. Marshalled in and immediately fueled, was offered the use of the crew car for my 90 min trip to a customer's site, this saved me the $40 for a rental! I feel that I got my monies worth. Recommend.
