I have flown into ACY on many occasions, both in singles and twins. I find the landing and overnight parking fees for a Navajo or 172rg to be reasonable. The counter staff and line service are also very accommodating. Job well done!

Landed in ACY to spend the night on the way home to Florida. On arrival no one from line service greeted us. Fuel was high, but Mid-Atlantic is the only game in town. The cab ride to the casino hotel on the boardwalk was $30 going and $37 returning to the airport. We sure miss Bader Field and wish there were another choice of FBO's in ACY.

Went to ACY for the first time for the airshow yesterday, and after reading the comments here I was braced for the poor service. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Called the FBO taxiing in, they asked if I required a cab and I did so they had one called immediately, they had a flagman waving me to a "follow me" cart, parked me, asked if I needed any services (did not need and probably would not have bought fuel at their price anyway), I was in a waiting, pre-cooled, air-conditioned van and brought to the FBO with my passenger in seconds, my form was already filled out with them asking for just a name and contact phone number along with the already known landing and ramp fees, I was on my way in minutes with no waiting, hassle, inconvenience or discomfort in any way. Upon returning to the airport I received my clearance and was on my way as fast as I could taxi to the active, again, zero delays. For the $18 I was pretty satisfied, no complaints at all.

I can only say that Midlantic Jet Aviation is mediocre at best. Upon arriving on the ramp, the lineman was nowhere to be found, and I had to park my aircraft (Piper Aerostar) on my own. When I asked about a crew car, the response was that only flight crews flying jet aircraft could have crew cars. They had many extra cars available. Too bad there is no other competition on the field. I am extremely disappointed at the quality, or lack thereof. I really hope that Midlantic will somehow improve customer relations.

I was not by any means impressed with the courtesy or service I had received at Midlantic Jet Aviation. I flew there in one of the 172's I own. The staff at Midlantic gave preference to other larger single and multi engine aircraft while I was there. This is not a way to do business. Every customer should be treated the same regardless of equipment flown. Upon landing, I was not asked if I needed any services, and as soon as I was marshaled into a parking spot incorrectly, the line guy disappeared. Too bad there is no other competition for Midlantic at ACY.

We stopped here for fuel in early December 2008 at about 0230Z. We were charged a landing fee, a parking fee and exorbitant fuel. We would recommend stopping somewhere else if it is just for fuel.

Flew in last evening the ATC cleared me to land about 10 miles out and gave progressives to the FBO great service for a large airport. Midatlantic gave great service for an $8 parking fee and a $10 landing fee. No pressure to buy fuel. They called a cab which arrived with in minutes and $27 later we were entering the boardwalk after a 15 minute ride. A little more expensive than the old Bader field but hey you are in Atlantic City and avoiding all the auto traffic.

ACY and Midlantic both leave a lot to be desired. First you get hit with a $10 landing fee, Midlantic will only offer a courtesy car with a 75-gallon fuel purchase (unfortunately my Arrow only takes 50 gallons!), and the people at the front desk could care less about helping us with our visit. I really miss Bader Field - and realize that ACY just isn't worth flying to anymore. I'd probably fly to Ocean City (26N) if I am going to have to rent a car AND pay a landing fee.

Spent the night at the Tropicana hotel last Thursday night due to rain. (Friend celebrated his 21st at Trop) Midlantic was fine of me leaving the airplane for the night. I actually made one miserable looking lineman's guy day by telling him jokes lol. Sometimes, you just have to make people smile.=) Well definitley come back here anytime in the future! However, I as well as the other NJ flyers miss Bader=(

To amend my previous comment: it has been brought to my attention that the $10 landing fee is charged by the airport, not the FBO, and I have been told that they have made every attempt possible to get it waived but have been unsuccessful.

This business has an interesting take on customer service. Arrived on 7/7/08 around 1:30pm local time. No one to park us/ direct us to parking area. No problem. As soon as I shut down the engine, a lineman arrived and informed me that we needed to move the a/c to another parking area. Why not meet the arriving a/c to coordinate parking? I was told that I should have called ahead on AIRINC, which I normally do but wasn't able to due to heavy traffic on the frequency. A "blame the customer" approach normally doesn't promote repeat business. Competition on the field is needed.

Both the ground crew and the FBO girls are very friendly, however the FBO has a lot to be desired. We are charged a $10 landing fee every time we land there (usually 3 – 5 times per day) and we were in a helicopter – we aren't even using a runway. The FBO doesn't have any courtesy car and the car service they suggest costs $27 to get to the city. The computer available is completely locked down so it's really only good for checking the weather. It is quite obvious that this there is no competition here at ACY, otherwise they might be a bit more customer-oriented.

My wife and I had a great experience at Mid Atlantic Jet in our Cessna 172. Frank was very helpful in assisting with getting our bags to the FBO and gave us a shortcut to Atlantic City so we would avoid the traffic jams on the AC Expressway. Lisa got our rental car paperwork done quickly and efficiently. Like many others, I wish Bader was still open, but Mid Atlantic is a much better FBO than the one that was at Bader.

Came here once again yesterday 4/5/08 with my co-pilot (wife). ATC was very courteous and Midlantic Jet Aviation as well. They rushed me a line man to help me park my aircraft C172 and make me feel like crew of those jets parked right next of us. They also called us a first class cab for the same price of a regular yellow taxi, less than 20 min and $27 to the casinos plus tips. On the way back our aircraft was secured and ready for departure. I have to pay an small fee of $6 landing and $10 parking. Overall this place has been a great experience to me and my crew (wife). Since my first visit many years ago, please notice that ATIS received on VOR freq and the recorded voice was very very low the day we arrived, almost every pilot reported with negative ATIS so ATC helped us with the rest of the info. Since Bader (unfortunately) closed your best choice is now Midlantic Jet Aviation 122.77. Fly safe and good luck with your bet.

My wife and I flew in for a Saturday night. Midlantic's freq wasn't published anywhere (122.77) so I couldn't call ahead, but a "Follow Me" van met us and led us to parking. They handled our luggage and had a car within minutes to take us downtown (20 min and $30). Fuel price was high, but probably market rate. Only disappointment was that they didn't waive the landing ($10) or parking ($8) fees when I got fuel, as most other places will do. Otherwise, they treated us as if we had landed in one of the Citations that were also on their ramp instead of a Cardinal. Excellent experience overall, though I still miss Bader.

Flew in here again for an overnight gambling trip. The line crew really helped me out getting a dropped fuel tester trip out of my tank. Can’t speak too highly of the desk staff, as they have never been very helpful, however.

Flew in from KRDG on Saturday 8/25/07 for a trip to the casinos. First air trip to Atlantic City since Bader Field closed. Very nice & clean facility and the folks at MidAtlantic were very helpful. Ground car picked us up at the ramp and took us to the terminal building where they had a cab waiting for us. Short jaunt to The Borgata. $10 landing fee very reasonable. Didn't need to buy fuel or take advantage of other services. I'd recommend the FBO and cannot wait to take another trip.

Arrived 9 days ago (1st time here/Bader closed) & found the service to be all around very professional and cost effective. $10 land plus $10/nite piston single is great for this level of service-perhaps the 100LL was a tad pricey but not out of line. I found Line to be particularly helpful in getting a large load of baggage in/out of the plane to my car to get the beach house set up for the week. Kudos! (Particularly given the # of jets on the ramp...)

Landed around 10pm on Thursday night. Paid $18 to walk in the door, said they would not waive w/fuel so I chose not to get any fuel. They called me a cab, which showed up in 5 minutes. Cab ride to Tropicana was $35 w/tip. "The Quarters" section of Tropicana was really nice for drinks (passenger, obviously not me) and dinner - then lots of clubs. Took cab to Borgata, cost around $25. A nice casino with more nice clubs. Lowest min table I found was $15 (we played craps). Had a good time in the casino and clubs. Return cab to the airport was a flat $27 ($35 w/tip). I filed IFR. When I called clearance no one answered, so I called tower and they gave me clearance. Then while holding short and getting ready for departure, they amended clearance with a REALLY long route (note I was only flying back to DMW just NW of BWI). The amended clearance took me almost straight south then under BWI airspace then back up on the other side, really horrible route. I was able to get it amended when en route.

Easy airport to get in and out of. Full service FBO with friendly staff. Paid a $10 Landing Fee plus $10/day for parking. Handling charge of $75 was waived with minimum purchase of 70 gallons of Jet-A.

First time visit (since Bader now closed) on Dec 23 for the day at the casinos. Very friendly staff! Called their premier cab service for the quick ride to AC. Felt like a limo ride for about the same price as dirty yellow cab. (At $29, it’s expensive but not their fault.) They waived the $10 landing fee. I didn't get gas so I don't know about their current fuel prices. Excellent facility!
