TAC Air at AMA is always great. Stopped in due to weather to refuel and make a new plan. Got a quick turn around and friendly service. The FBO Manager even came out to pull our chocks while the line guys were tied up with bigger aircraft. Service here is always excellent. I have been stopping here for the last 5 years.

I was forced to make an unplanned stop in Amarillo due to weather and landed around 9PM local. Chris Lemaster did a great job organizing the ground crew, fueling our jet, arranging hotel reservations, and loaning us the TAC Air car for the night. He ensured we'd be good overnight, and it made the stop much easier on us. Fly Navy!

Stopped in to refuel and show my copilot the wonders of The Big Texan Steakhouse. We were able to go from the helicopter to the courtesy minivan in about 2 minutes, 30%-off coupons from TAC in hand.

I have been flying into Amarillo over the past year for student cross-country training. On my last trip we had a bad mag, and where unable to come home on a Saturday night. The TAC Air staff helped us in getting a hold of a mechanic, and book a hotel room. The following day General Manager Mike Ryan helped us again by locating a mechanic, and even took us out too lunch! Since we need parts we where stuck another night. Again TAC Air booked our hotel, and lineman Nick Odom drove us in his car after his shift to Wal-Mart and to get something to eat. I have been to many FBO's around the Midwest, and have never seen the type of customer service that TAC Air employees displayed. I would go out of your way to stop and see the great Texas hospitality these guys and girls show!

The staff at TAC Air was very professional and courteous. When storms containing hail threatened the airport, they called me and I returned to taxi my plane to their corporate hangar. I will be stopping there again.

Kudos’ to Chris of FBO crew. I called ahead with some questions about the airport, and lodging. He was especially kind and helpful. It was great to see such effort and confidence in customer service these days.

I fly into Amarillo 4-5 times per year on business, and have always enjoyed absolutely outstanding service from the folks at TAC Air. There has always been someone on the line to direct me to parking and help tie down the plane (even during late night arrivals), and the folks at the desk are consistently courteous and helpful. On my most recent trip (arrived April 21), the folks at the desk handed me the keys to my rental car as I walked through the door from the ramp. In addition, their fuel prices for a full-service top-notch FBO have always been very reasonable. TAC Air is the FBO against which I judge all others.

Nice people. After my 9pm arrival insisted I take the crew car overnight vs. a rental, and booked hotel at a good rate.

I would like to congratulate the team at TAC Air at Amarillo. My wife, Arlene, my daughter Carmen, and I flew in last Sunday morning. The staff and everyone at TAC Air went out of their way to accommodate our needs and every wish. When I departed Monday the same excellence service was provided. Needless to say, I will make it a priority to trade with TAC Air on my next trip to Amarillo. Thank you; Terry Warner N3510A *****The flowers you are picking today are from the seeds you planted yesterday.*****

We use TAC Air in Amarillo several times per year and have always been impressed with the superior service and great attitudes of the ramp and administrative personnel. The jet fuel is competitively priced in spite of their being the sole FBO at KAMA, and they have secured quality hotels for us at good prices. Keep up the good work! Ken Spence, Valley Proteins

They did the usual of helping us get a hotel room, and suggestions for dinner. This is where it gets better - the hotel van was taking too long to arrive, so Mike Ryan - the general manager gave us a ride to the hotel in his personal vehicle - now that's service!

As a base customer of TAC Air, I have come to expect some level of service. Jennifer and her co-worker went above and beyond. After servicing our 421 they put it back in the hangar so I could load it and preflight without getting wet, as it was raining. Do I hear raise ?????

Fantastic! We had to stop in our Trinidad TB21 to wait out hurricane Dolly and the amenities were great. We booked our hotel in the pilots lounge and when we requested a taxi they handed us the keys to their crew car plus a $30% discount coupon to "The Big Texan", the home to the 72oz steak (make sure to order the free "limo" service from your hotel and bring a camera), which was perfectly described as a John Wayne movie on acid. not to be missed. A lot of military activity while we were here; wonderful photo ops. Above and beyond!

We've been to TAC Air in AMA several times now and have had nothing but praise for the total experience with the crew. The line people have been extremely helpful and the desk has been exceptional. We normally use a quick turn and it has been a great experience each time we go through AMA. I believe the shortest time from blockin to departure is :20 minutes. I highly recommend them.

Alan White impressed me with his proactive customer support, sense of responsibility with respect to supervising TAC Air ground crew teammates, poise, and his general communication ability. Having enjoyed a career of leadership in the USAF, I recognize qualities in Alan that indicate significant potential. He's the kind of person I would want on my team 'cause I know he'll stay focused and make good things happen. ---Jay Dunham (661) 277-4356.

Great FBO. Everyone is helpful and enthusiastic about their jobs and they go out of their way to look out for your plane. If you’re coming to the Amarillo area, then this would be the FBO to go to.

Wonderful service. We stopped in around 12:30 AM and were met by Oath and Paul. These guys were extremely helpful by providing us with a quick turn around with fuel service. They also offered us water, cookies, and coffee. The FBO was very clean and had nice facilities. Will definitely stop in again.

My company makes regular stops into TAC Air and the service is always exemplary. Great FBO! On a recent trip in another pilot grabbed one of our passenger's luggage and loaded in his plane. We were not sure which plane it ended up on but Rita quickly handled the situation and located the plane and had them return with the luggage. Thanks a bunch Rita!

We fly in from time to time just to have lunch. They have started charging $10 to park for an hour to eat!!! If you buy ten gallons of fuel they will way the fee, but I don't need fuel for a 25 min flight!! This will cost the cafe some business I won't pay it!!

Like the other TAC Air facilities we've used, this is among the best! The wind was blowing 36g42, and we were met by two very sharp line folks who quickly got us tied down. When I told them we had a small child on board, they simply directed the hotel shuttle (which they'd arranged, along with a great room) out to the airplane, and we loaded everything up and got on our way within 10 minutes. Stellar performance.

Unbelievably great FBO!! When you call in with an arrival estimate and fuel request, line service WILL be waiting for you and the fuel truck is NOT going to run out of fuel on you. After one particular AMA overnight, I had to have a GIII towed 180 degrees to avoid a tailwind start. (Line Service had anticipated that and had the tug standing by)The nosewheel torque link is usually a real pain to reconnect after a bad tow job, but Alan White did an amazing job and the link pin slipped smoothly in on the first try! We were on our way in no time. I could go on and on about the outstanding service at TAC AIR AMA! General Manager Mike Ryan is a true gentleman and every one on his staff is world-class! I look forward to seeing you all again soon!!

We flew a C-172 into KAMA, fueled and tied down with TAC Air. The line staff was great. The general manager was kind enough to take us to the airport to pick up and return our rental car. Friendly. As always, TAC Air has provided exceptional service!

I landed around 10:30 PM local without prior arrangement. I was quickly accommodated, hotel reservations were made for me and a shuttle arranged. Within 30 minutes of landing I was in a room at the Ambassador with a TAC Air discount. The airplane was topped off when I arrived the next morning and the paperwork processed quickly. The tie down and over night fees mentioned in the AFD are waived with fuel purchase.

I can't even thank you guys enough for our quick turn on 3/21/08. Let me tell you about my best time ever on the ground. We shut the engines down and in eight minutes we were taxing. I mean come on now that is really great on a quick turn. The best part was that LAS had a ground stop affective on the hour and the airport had us out at one minute before. Thanks to everyone at KAMA you guys made a ten-hour trip seem easy. The crew of N1693L

Stopped last night right at closing time in a King Air 90 for a quick turn. Didn't even order a full top-off but the folks still gave us top-notch service, pumped both wings at the same time, and we were ready to go from engine stop to start in 11 minutes, including paying the bill! Just call en route and I'm sure they'll give you the same.

It is hard to describe how satisfied we were with our experience at TAC Air of Amarillo. We came in late in the afternoon with one engine barely running and the manager, Mike Ryan, got right on the phone and found the most qualified mechanic around. The mechanic found a spare magneto locally and agreed to pick us up the next morning at our motel. He and I worked four hours swapping out the mag and test running the plane until it ran correctly. TAC Air supplied a warm hangar and a tug to move the plane in and out of the hangar for testing. They had to make four trips with the tug back and forth in 14-degree weather and blowing snow. The ladies behind the desk kept my wife busy with cookies and reading material. TAC Air of Amarillo gets my vote for FBO of the year.

Stopped here for weather and was grounded by freezing fog for 36 hours. Nice facility. Pilot's lounge, snooze room, weather area (full internet access), beautiful lobby. Very friendly staff with great suggestions while stuck. Prices are right for the excellent service provided. "The English Fieldhouse" is right next-door and serves good diner style food.

I was at TAC Air in AMA on 8/27/07. Stopped for a few hours for business. I found the FBO to be fine. Rental car was as promised through Hertz on line booking. Staff was OK friendly. (I have received spotty service over the years at TAC Air AMA, but no complaints this trip.) Fuel is a bit high, but that is common nearly everywhere these days. Facility is small, but pleasant. Nice conference room if needed. The restaurant next door is good, though I think it has slipped a bit over the past couple of years. All in all, a good experience.

I want to compliment the wonderful services provided to me by the Amarillo TAC Air staff during my recent extended stay (June 11 - July 3). All of the people I had occasion to have contact with were extremely pleasant and always helpful. I was very pleased to have my plane stored inside one of your hangars since there were several episodes of thunderstorms during my stay. In particular, Chris was exceptionally helpful and went the second mile in many small ways to make my experience so favorable!

Mike Ryan and his staff at TAC Air do an outstanding job. Fuel price and hangar prices are right in line. Staff is very professional; cars and hotel reservations were ready and printed out. Plane was fueled and put away. Leaving the next day, the front windows were even cleaned and that is no small feat on a Merlin III. Excellent weather and Internet briefing room, very clean and nice operation. A pleasure to do business with. Thank you TAC Air.
