This is a great FBO. My wife and I were greeted first thing by Carl and 2 cold bottles of water. Fuel prices were great and service was over and above. I will tell all about this place. Thanks Carl for all the help.

I fly into Alexander a few times every year. Every year it's great service. Visit, stay, buy gas, ski, raft, fish, relax in the hot springs and you won't want to leave.

Stopped by for a weekend fly-in with the Colorado Pilots Association and we were greeted with great hospitality, readily available courtesy cars, and a cold bottle of water on the ramp. The airport manager Carl makes this a great destination. The airport is only minutes from rafting, skiing, and hiking. Plus, the fuel is very reasonable.

This FBO operation is GREAT. Carl had about 40 Cessna descend on the airport for a two-day seminar and right in the middle of it, about 15 RV's showed up. I wish this were my home base ... But it isn't.

This is about the best Colorado mountain airport. You have great views, low cost gas prices, a terminal with a cozy relax feel to it. And one of the best airport managers in the country. If he isn't to busy he will meet you at your aircraft with a bottle of water, even if you are in a little bitty aircraft. The airport has several free crew cars to venture into town for sightseeing or just a quick lunch. Give yourself a treat; make this one of your stops if you’re in the area.

Carl is a great guy...He will help you out any way he can...And he has a staff from the lock-up who are great for helping us glider types assemble our ships. However as mentioned, pay attention to winds, rising terrain and density altitude. Also the runway has a 2-degree downhill pitch to the east. And in the summer there is a lot of towplane and glider activity, so announcing your intentions well in advance is always appreciated.

05DEC06 - Skiing trip to Monarch Pass. Loaded with gear and 4 persons. Excellent service from this FBO. Great people to deal with and great amenities (coffee, tea, snacks). I will visit again.
