About preflight if you don't do one you are putting yourself at risk

Be careful when going to the race at Talladega...The FBO put fuel in my plane and failed to adequately secure the fuel caps...Lost both on the climb out...Fortunately no one was hurt...Called the FBO and all the blame went to the preflight (didn't think I had to physically secure the caps myself)...All pilots BEWARE!!!!! Don't count on the wizards at the FBO to safely refuel your plane...

I received my Private Pilot 9/15/2006 and had been working out of the Pell City airport with two great instructors. I have been into Talladega several times and dropped in to get info about raceday. They have a guy there named Lynn that you should avoid at all cost. He did everything except tell me to stay home raceday. He even suggested that I go to Birmingham instead. Lynn, it worked (I didn't attend the Talladega race), but guess what? I did the Atlanta race and was treated like a king in my "lil Piper 180" that you laughed about sayin "the King Airs would be up my tailpipe!" Next Talladega race I'm all in but, it won't be because of the staff at Talladega. Lynn, learn how to treat others and maybe you would be treated better as well. Like I told you when you were treating me like a 5 year old. I have as much rights to the runway as your "King Airs" do.

Check out Gold Dust flight school at Talladega. They have two 152s and one 172. Jean is the sweet lady who runs the place. Nice folks who make flying an enjoyment for us pilots who fly for the fun of it.
