To the last post, how did you pay $3.70 per gallon when the current price is skyway robbery at $7.70? Could it have raised that much since June?

Took my Columbia 400 to ATL in order to get my ASA pilot friend to work on time, and to enjoy the "big airport" experience. Controllers were easy to work with, got worked me right in with the jet traffic provided (I kept 170KT on approach). Atlantic is a surprisingly small FBO for such a big airport, and the only other planes on the GA ramp were Omni DC-10's. I was marshaled by two very helpful ramp personnel who took and confirmed my fuel order and *immediately* began fueling after double chocking and putting cones around the plane. I felt treated with *far* more respect and attention than at FTY, RYY or PDK. Inside, I confirmed the ramp fee was waived with fuel ($6.00 landing fee from city can't be) and just about fell down when she told me 100LL was $3.70 since other area airports charged upwards of $6 (Jet-A was still $6.63) earning them a top-off. When I started up, staff patiently waited to marshal me out. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and Atlantic did a great job.

We were in all day today with N900NE Turbo Commander and had 'best of' service and friendly staff throughout. They take really good care of us every time we stop here, which is about once a month. We are normally the smallest and lesser airplane on the ramp, but always get great service.
