I was also stuck during the fire at Auburn-- the staff helped me find a ride back to Sacramento--definitely a great airport and nice people here.

Was stuck at Auburn during a recent TFR (fire). The staff was extremely helpful and friendly with the latest information and gas. Highly recommend.

We flew in on Friday evening and the Gold Country staff was extremely helpful with our fueling requirements and our rental car return. Excellent service!

What a great place for a $100 hamburger (or is that $400 for us renters) trip. Unicom was friendly and guided me directly to a parking spot right near the restaurant. Haven't been to a friendlier place and don't think I will find another quite like this one. A must visit! Thanks Auburn Airport. This is why I got my ticket!

For those that enjoy flying in to golf, this is truly the West Coast's best-kept secret! Fly in to Auburn with your clubs and the golf course will come and pick you up in a shuttle (call Unicom and tell them that you'd like to go to the golf course). But here's the real deal: for 50 bucks, you get 18 holes of a beautiful golf course including a cart and at the end of the day, turn in your receipt at the restaurant for a free dinner! What a way to end a beautiful day! Make sure to call ahead and reserve a tee time.
