Flew a military Gulfstream V in on 3 Sept after Hurricane Gustav. This little FBO took care of about 40 flight crews (Army, Coast Guard, air ambulances, and civilians) providing cookies, coffee and a great atmosphere. I will use LA Aircraft the next time I go to KBTR. Thanks again for your great support.

Stopped back in to Louisiana Aircraft on 6/4/2008. Had a much better experience with line service this time. Look forward to stopping in there again soon.

First Visit was on 11/1/2007. Ordered 15 gallons per side in a Baron. Paid at the fuel desk and upon returning to the airplane noticed the fuel sight gauges were still indicating what I landed with. Asked CSR if the plane had been serviced. Acknowledged that it had. Upon questioning her about the fuel level in the tanks I asked for a meter reading from the truck. Line Supervisor said it had been serviced but he would check. Finally admitted it hadn't been done. Strike One. Fast forward to 4/14/2008. Made two stops in there today. Got fuel both times. Second time line service left the fuel cap off the left tank. Don't know what crawled in there! Very sloppy line service that doesn't really care. Maybe if they charged $6.50 a gallon they could hire competent people. It sad because my clients like the facility. New ownership obviously hasn't changed anything. Watch those fuelers.

Received excellent service. The girls at the counter arranged for rental car. The line people met us and assisted with bags into the FBO. The staff was very pleasant and helpful providing directions to where we were going. Fuel pricy $5.39gal We're glad we got to see Louisiana Aircraft. We will definitely use their services again.

Fair is fair. We weren't happy in December (see below) but we returned last week and received excellent service. The girls at the counter arranged for a hotel room for us, and because it was evening, they provided a crew car overnight even though we offered to rent. The line guys double-chocked the airplane as we requested due to storms. At 0530 the staff was still pleasant and helpful. We're glad we got to see Louisiana Aircraft the way others have described, and we'll definitely use their services again.

I have had several of trips to BTR and used Louisiana Aircraft a few times. If you arrive in less than a jet do not expect service. I have had to wait for fueling and wait for cars that I had arranged for. Staff has been less than responsive and not very courteous. Avis rental is terrible and Enterprise will show up late with your car even after calling the day before with the arrival time. Needless to say not a pleasant experience and very expensive fuel. Why go there!

We chose this FBO based on the comments here. The service was just adequate - no smiles, no warmth, just adequate. Our fuel order was botched. We asked for full mains and 25 gals each auxiliary, but the auxiliaries were not fueled. There was FOD on the ramp that nobody seemed to care about. We were given a crew car however, and we do appreciate that.

Joe you sound a bit stiff. I have dealt with these people for nearly 25 years in one way or the other. I am quite sure you being charged for 25 gallons of gas that was not promptly pumped in your plane by the time you got back from lunch was strictly an oversight, probably due to all the recent chaos that was dropped in their laps over night due to the Hurricane. You should however be commended that you do check your own tanks and don't trust anyone but yourself. For some reason due to Hurricane damage Text messaging and E-mail was frequently the only way many of us could communicate with work associates, friends or family. I used both several times to place my fuel orders with the polite girls behind the desk when land lines or cell service would not work. To each his own, I don't know about you but in my book they deserve to be cut a little slack. Thanks for the "Great Service" during these recent demanding times.

I have fueled at Louisiana Aircraft several times over the past 2 months. During Hurricane Katrina recovery the FBO was slammed packed with people, and the staff did a GREAT job of helping me and fueling my plane. On 10/5/05 my student wanted to go to Capital Jet Center to buy fuel because of the lower price. My student rented a C172 for our dual cross-country. I told my student that we were going to LA Aircraft. Turned out to be a good choice, 28.5 gal of fuel. Yeah, the fuel price was a little more, but the service was great and they were more than happy to serve us and let us use a courtesy car for a quick bite to eat. LA Aircraft will get all of my business from here on out, it's worth a few cents more.

Requested 25 gal of 100LL. They ran the credit card while we got lunch. When we returned, the credit card slip was ready and my account charged. When I checked the airplane, no gas had been pumped. The line attendant said he didn't know anything about it. When I checked back at the desk, the girls were more interested in giggling about text messages. In the end, we got the gas, but use caution.

Abundant accolades to the maintenance side of the FBO. The left engine started running rough some 20 miles out--Larry W. and his top-notch crew immediately came to the rescue and pulled, cleaned, and reinstalled all plugs. The total operation was professional from start to finish. They went "the extra mile" to get this Angel Flight back in the air. Thanks to the Louisiana Aviation FBO.

I was at LA Aircraft for an Angel Flight due to Katrina on Sept 7. Fuel was in short supply and the FBO was packed. LA Aircraft worked with other FBOs on the airport to get the fuel needed, get it pumped and get us moving as quickly as possible. Everyone at LA Aircraft was helpful and friendly even after dealing with this mess for more than a week. Very good job.

This is a terrific FBO. In the midst of chaos these folks are maintaining level heads and doing way more to support the aviation community than anyone has a right to expect. The fuel truck operator showed a positive attitude even though he was being run ragged by pilots wanting gas right now. The counter staff remained cheerful and patient despite being under siege from hordes of pilots, VIPs, relief workers, and heaven knows who all. Note: They are in the hanger with the 'Avitat' sign. Phone service in Baton Rouge is spotty due to huge overloading of lines. Cheerful, professional, and competent. Highly recommended.
