My school had a flight of two passing through Crescent City on a trip down the coast. The second plane developed alternator problems and was grounded for a day. Sue, at the front desk upon learning of the problem, started calling nearby airports looking for a spare alternator for our C-206, and arranged hotel space at a nearby hotel (Lighthouse Inn). The following day after returning with the alternator, she asked about our hotel and found out we weren't given the FBO special rate. She promptly called the hotel to have our credit charges corrected for our 3 rooms, thus saving us $20/room. We would definitely recommend this FBO for our future needs! Great service Westlog Aviation!

Got stranded in Crescent City on the way back from San Diego and had to stay a night at KCEC. The staff was ok - small town helpful. Stayed at the Lighthouse Inn as the FBO had a special rate with them and for the last minute nature, it was decent by all regards. Amenities at the FBO were limited but they had a good briefing system, maps, washrooms, car rental (Hertz) on site, self serve 100LL and that's about it. Nothing over the top but no complaints either. If you get in too late in the evening it's a pretty lonely place.

Westlog is the best. They are very friendly, and quick to help out whenever possible. It's a beautiful place; my only regret is that I can't stay longer each time I'm there. A special thanks to Sue at Westlog. See you next time.

Sometimes you get to experience folks at a small non-busy airport who define hospitality and cordiality. At Crescent City it's everyone, and everything. Friendly, helpful Larry took care of our needs for our Citation, and we watched him extend the same care for a 172 pilot and passenger. Rather than give us complicated directions to the Hampton Inn, he led us to the hotel with his truck. Larry was there the next morning, cheerful and helpful, recommended a great drive through the redwoods and a cool Mom and Pop restaurant with our free time. Great FBO.
