Put together an impromptu fly-out to KCGE on 11/29. The field remains in excellent condition and all of the comments about the restaurant are true. Hostess couldn't have been more helpful as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Once seated (locals love this place too), food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back.

Visited on Sunday. Restaurant was busy - 10 min wait for a table. Food was excellent and a good value. I had a ham-and-cheese club sandwich w/ FF, $6.50. The tomatoes were obviously local fresh produce. The soft drinks are served in large Mason jars and I got a re-fill gratis for my lemonade. One highlight is watching the traffic at the hummingbird feeders outside the windows. The little critters are fascinating!

One of my favorite airport restaurants. I like the decor. Good view of the ramp and runway. Tasty food. Also, a variety of desserts for those of us with a sweet tooth.

Wonderful view of the runway! Delicious food! Great service!

We stopped for lunch the food was fantastic and there is a great view of the runway from the dining room. It was a Saturday and the ramp was a little crowded but they tell me that it is going to be expanded soon. It was a great stop and I highly recommend you try the chili.

Attention all corporate pilots: the service here is non-existent. We came in today for our passengers to attend a 3 hr meeting, and the restaurant is closed, they do not have a crew car, and no rental car. The pilot’s lounge has nothing (including tables or chairs to work on), and no wireless Internet. Go somewhere else...

Flew to CGE this past weekend and had lunch at Kay's. It's a nice restaurant with the most complete menu that I've seen at an airport restaurant. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. Parking was limited on a Saturday afternoon but not impossible. I had no trouble parking in the grass. The lineman said that an expansion of the ramp had been approved but he wasn't sure when construction would start. A visit to this airport and Kay's is well worth the time. I'll definitely be back

I went there today with my uncle from MTN. It was his first time flying with me, and also in a small plane. The staff was very professional. I had the "crab" omelet. I recommend it.

We have been back many times and Kay's food and prices can't be beat!! One of the best resorts I have ever been too (travel agent for 25 yrs.)...Hyatt Regency right at the end of the runway almost. Local taxi is cheap but sporadic.. Kay's brother dropped us off a few times..Very kind people. Fuel is always low with fine line service from Snap (name).

This modern restaurant is great, with an unmatched view on the ramp and runway! We stopped in yesterday (Saturday afternoon). I had a superb fried oyster basket. My wife had a burger. The fries were crisp and food perfect. Also excellent service.

Nice experience at Kay's yesterday - food is decent and very reasonably priced. The classic fly-in restaurant experience with great views of the ramp and departing aircraft. The crab dip was quite tasty, too.

OCTOBER 14, 2007 made the run to Kay’s from KILG and it was worth the trip. Good food, good service and a modern terminal building. Mary and I bumped into a friend from 33N and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere while dining at Kay’s.

Nicely laid out restaurant with a great view of the runway. The terminal is very new and modern. Food is great. Several of us flew over from GED last Saturday for lunch. The coconut cake for dessert was excellent!

Stopped in at Kay's on 12 May 2007, The Crab Cake sandwich was excellent and reasonably priced. Any time you have good food and cheap fuel, count me in. Will definitely be back in the near future (do they have fly-away??)

Kay's food is the best food value whether at an airport or not. Many locals use this as their favorite restaurant it just happens to be at the airport. Try the fresh turkey. The iced tea is perfect with fresh lemons. Service is also a big plus as Kay is right there all the time. A must stop!
