Flew in on June 20th for a late lunch. The field definitely had a steady flow of customers. The food was great crab dip was unbelievable. Definitely worth the stop

I went there today with my uncle from MTN. It was his first time flying with me, and also in a small plane. The staff was very professional. I had the "crab" omelet. I recommend it.

We have been back many times and Kay's food and prices can't be beat!! One of the best resorts I have ever been too (travel agent for 25 yrs.)...Hyatt Regency right at the end of the runway almost. Local taxi is cheap but sporadic.. Kay's brother dropped us off a few times..Very kind people. Fuel is always low with fine line service from Snap (name).

This modern restaurant is great, with an unmatched view on the ramp and runway! We stopped in yesterday (Saturday afternoon). I had a superb fried oyster basket. My wife had a burger. The fries were crisp and food perfect. Also excellent service.

Closed Wednesdays. Nice place!

Nice experience at Kay's yesterday - food is decent and very reasonably priced. The classic fly-in restaurant experience with great views of the ramp and departing aircraft. The crab dip was quite tasty, too.

OCTOBER 14, 2007 made the run to Kay’s from KILG and it was worth the trip. Good food, good service and a modern terminal building. Mary and I bumped into a friend from 33N and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere while dining at Kay’s.

Nicely laid out restaurant with a great view of the runway. The terminal is very new and modern. Food is great. Several of us flew over from GED last Saturday for lunch. The coconut cake for dessert was excellent!

Stopped in at Kay's on 12 May 2007, The Crab Cake sandwich was excellent and reasonably priced. Any time you have good food and cheap fuel, count me in. Will definitely be back in the near future (do they have fly-away??)

Kay's food is the best food value whether at an airport or not. Many locals use this as their favorite restaurant it just happens to be at the airport. Try the fresh turkey. The iced tea is perfect with fresh lemons. Service is also a big plus as Kay is right there all the time. A must stop!

Flew in for breakfast on a recent Saturday morning and was not disappointed. Apparently the "old" breakfast menu is back. Lots of choices and lots of good food for not a lot of cash. Pancakes are huge, as are the sausage patties. Large windows with great view of the approach end of Rwy 16 for those who like to watch airplanes while they eat (who doesn't?). Note that Kay's is in the new terminal building adjacent to the approach end of Rwy 16. About midfield is another restaurant, Signature Cafe, which is also pretty good, though a bit simpler. Both are worth the stop.

The interior is quite attractive and has a good view of the airport. I've eaten there 3 - 4 times and the food has always been very good. Prices are low as well. Ramp space, for a truly large crowd, is limited. Definitely recommended.

Kay's has become one of our favorite stops for some of the best crab cakes around. Made a couple of stops in 2005 and a couple already in 2006. Nice restaurant, good food, and friendly people. The only down side is the relatively small ramp. It can get crowded. I was one of the RV drivers mentioned by Joe in an earlier post that came down from NJ. We've been going back ever since.

Well, we ate breakfast at Kay's the first time on January 8, and once since then, and now February 19, about 6 weeks later, Kay's management changed the ENTIRE breakfast menu -- and not for the better, in our opinion. Instead of the delicious blueberry pancakes, bacon, eggs, real steak fries, etc., you are now offered a limited choice of eggs benedict, fancy waffles, one style omelet, and a couple of other such "upscale" choices. No pancakes, blueberry or otherwise, bacon, etc. I have urged them to bring back the good, traditional breakfast they were becoming known for. We shall see.

Heard good things about Kay's before, but we ate there for the first time last Sunday, January 8. It was a refreshing and delightful experience. Our breakfast was not only huge but one of the tastiest we have had in many years at an "airport restaurant." If you like delicious blueberry pancakes, bacon and plenty of hot coffee, you have to try Kay's. I am sure the lunches and dinners would be just as good. Hope Kay's (and I) are around for many years!

We had an RV fly-in today at CGE. I called a few days ahead to "Kays" restaurant to advise them that approximately 25 people would be coming for lunch. Well, the weather was excellent and 50 people showed up in their RV's! Kay (the head cook) and her husband Greg did and outstanding job seating all of us. On top of that, the food was very good. Excellent food for the price along with a very good menu with many choices. Kays restaurant is located in the new terminal building on the west end of the airport. Kays restaurant and the FBO there deserve our business. Very friendly and reasonable prices. On top of that, the restaurant is only 3 or 4 months old. I will definitely be back!
