We stopped overnight at COE yesterday and used Resort Aviation. They're remodeling the FBO but everyone was very helpful, friendly and efficient. Rental car was brought to the airplane when we arrived. Excellent service.

We landed on a Sunday. The staff at the Resort was courteous and helpful. Denise found us a wonderful "INN" to spend the night at. The Greenbriar is an old house, which has been changed into an Inn. We were three or four blocks from the downtown CDA. The lodging was wonderful and comfortable. The friendliness at the Resort Aviation was great, as was the service.

This FBO is ok, but certainly nothing to write home about. The building is old and smells like smoke on the inside. Prices are high, and with those high prices, you get OK service, but the FBO doesn't have basic things such as a crew car; one must rent a car if they want to go somewhere. They're charging the same price as some big cities, chain FBOs, but without the nice items that the big city, chain FBO offers. I say either catch up to what others offer for the price, or lower the fuel prices.

I recently did a day stopover with Resort Aviation. Their somewhat antiquated facility apparently serves as the high-end FBO at this airport, and the prices reflect this. Seems that nearly everything here is expensive, especially for Idaho, but without some of the amenities you'd normally expect for the price. That said, the people were fairly friendly, and a nearby public ramp allows you to avoid paying a ramp fee. Fuel here is very steep, a cab to the Lakeshore area will cost $25 (no courtesy car), and the airport area lacks amenities in general. Rental cars appear to be available.

I'm have my plane tied down at KCOE and recently locked my keys in my car while preflighting. Taxied over to Resort looking to maybe rent a car, drive home, get my spare key, and drive back. As I explained my plight to the ramp guy, he pulls out the keys to his truck and asks me how long I think I'll be gone... Way over and above what I was expecting. I was in a 152...

This is an addenda to note I wrote here last week. I have received a letter from Resort Aviation promising to address the issues I raised and apologizing for my experience with customer service, stating that "All aircraft big or small are what we deal with and all should be given the same consideration". I appreciated the response. Everyone deserves a second chance and I will see if their (Resort Aviation) service improves on my next trip to Coeur d'Alene.

I was there on a cold december day. Here was my experience: 1) engine preheat equipment was broken down. 2) Very poor customer service 3) I needed a start cart for an electrical power assist. No start cart (strange for a jet center!) 4) The ramp attendant would not help me with jump. I paid $5.45 a gallon and figured this price would connotate some level of customer service, not so. I would not recommend Resort Aviation to anyone who does not burn Jet-A. I wrote a letter to management about my concerns and requested a reply. None forthcoming. Need I say more?
