When my SR22 had alternator problems, Neil, Mike and the crew at A-Cent could not have been more accommodating. They went out of the way to help me out very quickly and efficiently. They are knowledgeable, friendly and fair. I recommend A-Cent to anyone going to KCOS without hesitation.

When I moved to COS, I investigated all FBO's. I choose A-Cent and have never regretted it. I have used them for flight training, finding and purchasing an aircraft, and aircraft maintenance. The flight training is outstanding with very knowledgeable people and many, many hours of experience. You get much more than the "basic" level of learning. They helped me find and purchase an outstanding aircraft with low time, and a great value. Maintenance has been exceptional by very talented and knowledgeable people. The have fabricated some parts to save me money, consulted with me on all repair items, and coached me and allowed me to do some appropriate repairs myself. The people are top notch and I have found them to be very honest.

I regret doing business with A-Cent Aviation. Be sure to get written quotes on all reapirs. They did not call me for approval nor did they have written authorization from me and my 172RG annual costs exceeded anticipated verbaly projected costs by their company employees by thousands of dollars. They then held my plane until I could pay them, after the owner said he would release the plane to me. Buyer beware.

Response from Kimberly Skinner, CFO, A-Cent Aviation
A-Cent Aviation sincerely apologizes that our communication & services did not meet with your expectations. Our policy is to develop a written list of all discrepancies during annual. We review this list of discrepancies with owners & always provide verbal estimates of the repairs for the owner to approve. The cost discrepancy repairs are IN ADDITION to the price of the annual. Written estimates are also available. Payment is expected when service is complete. Unfortunately some repairs, especially significant airworthy discrepancies, can become extremely costly. On a case-by-case basis A-Cent may work out a payment plan, with initial payment at time services are completed & additional payments within 30 days of initial. When NO payments are received within 30 days, A-Cent must unfortunately pursue additional collection activities. I hope this clarifies for all AirNav users the standards with which A-Cent governs itself when providing exceptional maintenance services to our customers.
