Arrived COU 7/12/08. Was unloading when a rain shower suddenly dumped on us. The lineman was very helpful with umbrellas and assistance. The aircraft was parked at the GA passenger terminal and subsequently towed to parking and properly secured by the lineman. And, there is no overnight tie down fee!!

This FBO has all but fallen off the face of the Earth. All the good people have left for Jefferson City and they have closed down their maintenance operation. They still provide poor and "couldn't care less" attitude. The only reason they remain in operation is because of political links.

Friendly and helpful staff, linemen act quickly consistently. Hanger prices for a single are cheap and fuel prices are fair. Don't use Hertz car rental on field, they are charging $68.00/day for a bottom line Ford Focus. Use Enterprise, which is also on field for a much cheaper rate. No construction was going on at the airport. This is the only FBO on field, overall good experience.

July 29, 2007 Due to weather, we had an unscheduled stop at COU. With construction at ramp area, we had to park at least 200 yards from FBO. The extremely young attendant, who could have cared less about service, did not offer a ride or any help with luggage to the FBO - 200 yds away. There was no one in the office, and no courtesy car to get to our hotel. Thankfully another pilot came along & gave us a ride into town. Expensive cab ride back the next morning! We were told the plane would be hangared after we called a number on the business card we picked up at the FBO, but found the plane the next morning in the same spot - UNTOUCHED! Very poor service, would not recommend, nor plan to return here. We have never experienced such a lack of care and courtesy in Aviation.

Service was good and fast. Stopped on my way to KSLN. Line service was there to park the aircraft and then asked what we needed. If I have the opportunity to stop there again I will.

FBO had reasonable service. Airport out in country from town. Car rental shuts down after 5:30 P.M. Local... No courtesy car offered. Managed to catch a ride with a local pilot going home, to motel. $30.00 cab ride the next morning. Wouldn't recommend for RON stop...

Had a hard starting issue that was determined to be mag related. Left aircraft at COU for a week; Joe Rutherford and his team installed a fresh pair of mags in a couple of days and sheltered the plane until I could return. Good operation.

Wanted to thank the folks at CMA for all of the GREAT! services you have to offer. This is a good fuel and eating stop. Airport has weather and good instrument approaches. This makes getting into and out a snap.

I can't comment directly on Mr. Roberts 24 Dec 05 incident, but can say unequivocally that Central Missouri Aviation is a top drawer operation in every respect. And that Joe Rutherford, their Director of Maintenance, is an exceptionally knowledgeable, skilled and no-nonsense professional who daily practices genuine Customer Service as a matter of character. His reported response to Mr. Roberts's problem - Christmas Eve day notwithstanding - is indeed no surprise to me.

We had an engine problem in a JetProp a few days ago and wound having to dead-stick land on RW 20. Rescue services were polite and helpful, even took my passenger to the rental car area and watched out for her. The line personnel were friendly and immediately towed the plane from the RW to their shop. Joe, his mechanics, and the lady operating the front desk took us under their wing and determined the problem with the engine, made arrangements for parts, and hotel reservations. The new Marriott is recommended. Part came in the next morning, Joe personally installed it so we could leave in time to be home before sundown. We were invited to share their Christmas buffet. Charge was fair. Thanks too for all the help from KS Center and KCOU tower. Everything worked out well!

BAD FBO. These people couldn't care less about anyone but themselves. I've never been to a WORST FBO in my entire life. The people are mean and the building looks like it's about to fall down. Very expensive gas. DO NOT STOP HERE... go to Jeff City where you will be pretty like royalty.
