Easy to find, friendly service...They called me a cab to go downtown and they were there in about 10 minutes to pick me up...About a $15 fare to downtown St. Louis. Stayed for 3 nights, they got me some hangar space for my C182..Pleasant experience. Will be back.

My wife and I flew in on Friday, the 7 of Aug 09 and was pleased with the service we received. I spoke with Kathy (sp) on the Monday prior to set up my arrival on Friday and Kathy was wonderful. I asked to have my a/c hangared and they did so with no problems. When I called on Sunday morning for my departure, again Kathy was working and very helpful to us. The manager of Ideal should be very thankful to have her working there. I had them fuel the a/c, which they did as soon as I shut down. The folks are really nice, friendly, and professional there. The ATC system is simply outstanding.. I have not had any better interaction anywhere with the ATC system; they are just wonderful folks in the system. The taxi was fast, friendly, and clean. (The company that the FBO recommends. Sorry, I cannot remember how to spell it.. The red vehicles. I DO HIGHLY recommend Ideal Aviation and KCPS for anyone going to the downtown area. A great airport system

During the last two weeks in May, Ideal got "bombed" by over 100 aircraft from 30 university flight schools from all over the country. When I arrived to attend the final banquet, not only was a ramp space waiting for me in front of the building, but I didn't even have to put my plane in it. I parked in front of the door, and their capable line staff put my plane into a spot later and fueled it for me. Ideal Aviation showed a great amount of patience, support, and help, to all of the students, advisors, and coaches who attended the 2009 SAFECON event. They deserve a huge round of applause for their amazing efforts during a time in which they were swarmed ... Not only the company owners and reception employees, but the two line gentleman that choreographed a safe, efficient, and safe ramp environment, as well.

I go into St Louis Downtown airport frequently to visit family. The folks at Ideal are always helpful with securing my plane and fueling as I requested. Cathy at the front desk has been very good to work with. The fuel prices are the lowest on the field. I would always recommend Ideal when landing at CPS.

I called Ideal a couple days ahead and they arranged an Enterprise rental car for us. Thank goodness they are open 24 hours, because a delayed departure meant we didn't arrive until 10 p.M. I called Ideal from 20 miles out, and as I shut down on their ramp, the rental car was being backed right up to the plane! We had great help with our bags and fuel. With great service like this, you can be sure we'll be back at Ideal each time we return to St Louis!

I have been to Ideal twice in the last month. Best location for downtown St. Louis. Ideal is extremely friendly, helpful, comfortable facility, and extremely low cost fuel. Kathy went beyond the call of duty to contact a commercially inbound passenger at Lambert Field. The line crew plugged in my block heater on my SR22 and put the jacket on the cowling so the engine would be warm when I arrived for departure. Laclede cab 314-652-taxi gives fast and low cost service for all taxi needs. Definitely my choice of Fields for the St. Louis area. No ramp fees nor landing fees.

Great service. We arrived in our Piper Arrow but we may as well have been in a Gulfstream. Very attentive, had our rental car ramp side and helped with bags and tie down. Fuel prices very reasonable for a metro area. Highly recommend!

Kathy is friendly and helpful. Give Ideal Aviation Unicom a call on 122.95 about 20 minutes out, and they'll have a cab waiting for you on the ramp. Very convenient.

Easy to use airport with great ATC. Easy trip to downtown. Use the cab they recommend, $4 cheaper and in English than the yellow we got at the hotel back. FBO will ride you to Oliver’s Restaurant and bring you back. Good food and good service. FBO personnel were great and helpful. Didn't charge tie down or landing fee. This is the spot for the cheapest gas and convenience in the St. Louis area. Hope to come again.

We got in late but our rental car was still waiting. They brought it out to the plane so we could load it up. Free WiFi. Good flight planning area with computer wx. Good directions to downtown St. Louis but the signs on the way out were turned around. Really! Only problem was they didn't really fill up the tanks when they fueled us. The plane took another 9 gallons after I noticed and asked them to top us off.

We executed an Angel Flight relay here. The service was great and a mechanic even made a quick repair to our aircraft on a Saturday and did not charge us. Great FBO and their fuel is cheaper!

Convenient. ATC handling is superb. Ideal handles a LOT of freight customers so experienced people are "on the job". Suggest working out cab arrangements prior to landing. I've tried both ways and calling ahead is the best.

Stopped in for two nights. Very nice line and office staff. They were extremely helpful and the hospitality was great. They worked to finish replacing a hangar door in time to get my plane in the hangar before storms came through. I will make it a point to visit Ideal again.

Great FBO, nice people to deal with. Had an errand to run while we were there and the owner was gracious enough to play chauffeur and drive me around. Later that day they dropped us off at Oliver's for dinner (great restaurant right on the field). Highly recommend this FBO.

Tied down on March 30th and 31st. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave us a great hotel recommendation (Our lady of the Snows). When a storm came thru, I remembered that I didn’t secure my controls. Called them and they did it for me saving a trip to the airport.

Arrived at 9 pm in the dark. Greeted by two linemen. One pumped gas while the other helped us get luggage with flashlights. I had called about hangar space and a storm was near. Said yes to the hangar and it was towed and tucked in before we even left. Took cab to the Arch area, about $15. Great Service, Quick, Friendly. They have wireless

I fly my Citabria into Downtown occasionally, and I have always enjoyed going to Ideal. It's very pleasant there and we're well treated by their friendly personnel. I always buy fuel, but with a small aircraft like mine, they don't make much on the deal. Nevertheless, they never stick us with phony ramp fees or anything like that. They always seem as happy to see us, as they would be a large Gulfstream. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately for everyone involved my experience with Ideal Aviation was not pleasant. My experience was by telephone attempting to reserve a car rental. Planning on spending the day with business associates in the St. Louis area, I inquired about parking fees. Ideal aviation wanted to hijack my wallet for a minimum of 100 gallons JetA in lieu of a parking fee... For a King Air 90. I understand making a living but 100 gallons? $423.00 purchase plus taxes for a 40 minute flight? That is a very unreasonable expectation so not only is my business gone but so is the parking fee, 100 gallon required fuel purchase and future business.

We arrived about 5:30 P.M. For an overnight stay. I asked that my plane be topped and put in their hangar overnight. After about 15 minutes after arrival, our taxi had not come, so one of the staff insisted on taking us to St. Louis. The next day, I phoned and the plane was pulled from the hangar and topped off, ready to go. Great experience.
