Having purchased more than 30 gallons of fuel at their prices, we had to pay an overnight fee too. Where else does that happen? Everything was sufficient but we probably wouldn't bother again.

Spent the weekend of 10/10/09 at Ramp 66. Great FBO. They sent out a Follow Me cart and brought the rental car right to the plane. 100LL at 5.09 a gallon. Ben - there are 2 computers in the weather room there; one was a dedicated terminal (wxworx I think) and the other was just online where you could get on the 'net and check your favorite weather site. Good thing too, because wxworx didn't have any TFR info. Great FBO. Nice people. Say Hi to Glenda when you call.

Grand Strand is hands down the better layover than KMYR. The facilities are nice and you can relax a while in the rocking chairs or practice your putting. The Tower crew is great at managing traffic and has a friendly attitude. If you need some help with anything, they are glad to do it.

RAMP 66 isn't fancy. It doesn't have Internet for pilots. But what it does have is a VERY warm and friendly atmosphere and some very nice people who run the place. Prices are alright and I found it very relaxing to go putting on the "green" and to watch that Bi-Plane come in and out. Its a shame I was in a rush, I could have easily spent another hour just sitting in the rocking chairs watching the banner tows pick up and drop their banners.

This place remains one of my favorite airports and FBOs. Where else can you fly in and look at a 1941 Waco bi-plane that is used for rides while you wait for your fuel order to be filled? Not into that? Try the putting green or grab some popcorn and sit in one of the rockers and watch the banner tow planes drop and pick up their ads. Very cool to watch. Plus, the service is polite, quick and efficient. Kudos, once again to Glenda and the girls. (Oh, and ATC does a nice job getting you in and out too!)

We were trying to decide between this airport and MYR for a five-day stay. After looking at all the positive comments, we picked here. All the other users were correct, this is a good place to stop. Hanger price for a single was $40.00 per night. Rental car was $38.00 per day. We thought both charges were reasonable for the location. Line service and the CSR's were excellent. If you want Internet access, bring your laptop; the computer in the pilot's lounge has seen better days. (Slow)

Ramp 66 does a super job- very accommodating- visited North Myrtle Beach for 6 days - 8/2- 8/8. Car rental was brought to aircraft with A/C running - helped with luggage, and on our way in a jiffy. Will visit again..

I fly in several times a year with the family and have had consistent great results. Before I am out of the plane, the rental car is delivered and offered help, to unload the bags. In 10 mins the plane is fueled. When departing, they greet you at the plane again, and help untie it, and unload the bags from the car. The paperwork is ready when you walk into the office. All very helpful when you have little ones running around. Ramp66 is a good operation!

Flew in Saturday afternoon (4/11) and for an overnight stay. They got me parked and fueled and tied the plane down. I was a bit surprised that when leaving on Sunday I was charged a tie down fee since I had purchased fuel. Great folks overall and they allowed my son onto the ramp with his car so we didn't have to carry our stuff far.

Last weekend I was involved in a safety seminar with ground school and flight training at CRE. This is the first time the seminar has been held at CRE. Many of us like to bring our wives/copilots to make it a weekend. Although the weather on Thursday our arrival day was ugly a few of us made it in with the rest of us arriving Friday AM before class. The people at Ramp 66 could not have been nicer. On arrival a rental car was brought immediately to the airplane for ease in unloading and the paperwork and tiedown/hangaring was seamless. This group of people were professional, but easygoing and Carolyn overseeing the front desk was attentive and offered suggestions to all my questions. I hope we return to CRE next year for our safety seminar because Myrtle Beach has a lot to offer for golfing, shopping and entertainment and Ramp 66 is a nice, comfortable place to fly into.

Great airport, great FBO. Car pulled up when we parked, bags loaded. They had to move me to park for a couple of days, and they have very nice tug that is electric and lifts the nose wheel. I had to go back to airplane to get my wallet and the line guy had me triple chocked and tied down by the time I got to the plane! I felt like I was in good hands. I didn't catch the guy’s name, but nice job and thanks!

I flew into Grand Strand for a weekend stay. The service by Ramp 66 was outstanding. I was met by a linesman and led to parking. Aircraft was safe while left for a few days on the line. I had some problems with my credit card and the staff was VERY understanding and helped me to resolve the error. I highly recommend them.

I have previously commented on Ramp 66 and must do so again. Every time in, they continue to provide the same great friendly service, fair fuel prices and nice facility. These folks are truly a benchmark for others.

It was back in April when I flew into Grand Strand but I stopped into Ramp 66 for fuel and the staff there was top notch! Very friendly! They could see I had been flying for a while that day, and offered me the crew car to go grab some lunch. They left a very good impression on me. I will defiantly go back if I get the chance.

Ramp 66 is one of the best FBO"s ever visited. Great staff well trained in customer service. Randall serves as an Ambassador for Ramp 66 "Your plane is his plane" from shut down to start up you are well taken care of. Great location, close to everything in North Myrtle Beach.

What great service. Tie down to take off. Follow golf cart to FBO, bring rental car to plane, unload your luggage and tie your plane down. Just friendly nice people all around. I left my jacket in rental car and they found it and sent it to me. Tower and Ground service also excellent.

Recently visited CRE. What great service. Golf cart meets plane and takes you right up to the FBO. Drives rental car to plane and loads your luggage for you. Parks your plane afterwards too. First Class Operation. Also left my jacket in the rental and they sent it back too me....

Excellent service. The lineman used our rental car as a ramp car so we followed "our" car to the tie down. The car was packed and we were on our way very quickly. Everyone was polite and helpful. The only hang up was staff unfamiliarity with a "new computer system" that slowed our check out. I have always received quality service from Ramp 66.

Ramp 66, Class act! Arrived Sunday morning and James got us parked and hooked up with a rental. We were going to use a taxi for the few days in town but followed his advice. James had our car ready and waiting in no time at all and had packed all our bags in the trunk. The ladies at the desk are fantastic, they had us on the road in short order. Smooth operation! Great job Ramp 66, hope to see you all in November!

Flew in last weekend just in time for TS Barry. Everything was perfect and well run. Ordered no fuel rather choose CPC which ten minutes away and $1.25 a gal cheaper. Still all is well at CRE. $10 parking for my single engine.

Visited April 6, 2007 and Ramp 66 still sets the standard for service. Car was waiting, aircraft unloaded and bags put in the car. Topped of the tanks immediately and towed our Cherokee to the front door when we were ready to leave two days later. Third visit to Ramp 66 and it keeps getting better!

Great service - even flying in with my older Cherokee 140 - same service on the ramp and counter as the big guys. My favorite field in the Myrtle Beach area - no ramp fees like MB International.

Flew into Grande Strand this last March 2007. Paid $12.00 per night tie down no matter how much fuel I purchased. If they call a cab for you, you can watch the taxi driver pay the kickback, which will be added to your bill. Pay up or stay away.
