I love the Ding-A-Ling cafe. You can feel the history of the old Army building which is now the cafe. The food cannot be beat, but it is not diet food. The food is good old stick to your ribs, honest American food. I love the place.

Saw the clear skies and decided on a short hop from San Carlos to Hollister for a burger at the Ding-A-Ling Cafe. Friendly local pilot helped me in for calm wind runway and after we landed showed my son and I where to eat and see a couple of Stearman's. Friendly service, good food, friendly pilots. Would definitely go back.

We stopped at Hollister during a quick morning flight and stopped at the cafe for breakfast. The service was very prompt and friendly. I was surprised to learn that the cafe opens at 7am (for the early birds). The food was good; I'd go back again if I were in the area.

Still a great place to stop, Ding a Ling is under new ownership and judging by the number of people they get it.

Stopped here for lunch, and would highly recommend the Cheeseburger with Onion Rings - Excellent prices and service! You can eat outside, and watch the take-offs...
