Been there, done that, did it again! These people are good, very good. Courtesy transportation, and facilities even the wife enjoys. Stayed at the Comfort and walk 2 blocks to Crystal River restaurant for fine, hot, catfish!!! Thanks Airspeed!

Good fuel price and service was great! Wife & I stopped for fuel (self service) at Airspeed on our way back to Texas from the Bahamas--VERY TIRED--and needed to spend the night. The nice lady at the counter called and got us a room and told us to use their courtesy car--no charge. They parked our RV-7A for the night and had it ready at their door the next morning--also no charge. N735RV be back, mon!

Flew in for Future Masters Junior Golf Tournament. Was met by two friendly line personnel who helped unload luggage into car. When ready to leave, the line boy hooked up the tug and towed my T210 over to the self serve fuel pumps so I could save on 100LL and not have to start up twice. Did not charge me tie down fee even though I was parked for 4 days. Overall, they were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a positive experience. N5537C will be back!

As with a post below, I stopped at Flightline on the way to Florida from Arkansas. Both places were good, but the fuel at Airspeed was .17 less per gallon. The self-service pumps are right next to each other, so you have a choice. The service at Airspeed was excellent. They gave us a crew car to go to the hotel and tied our plane down, and seemed happy we were there. I will return here on my next trip.

We stopped in to Airspeed in a Navajo the last week of February. It was a very pleasing experience. The girl at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating and the line staff was very courteous and friendly. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Dothan.

Recently used KDHN as my refueling site between Arkansas, and Florida. Used Flightline on the way down, and Airspeed on the way back. Quality of service was similar, but the staff at Airspeed was much more personable, and friendly. Specifically, Kristy, and Ryan, went above and beyond in servicing my plane, and us. Good lunch available at the terminal. Flightline was ok, but no one really cared if we were there, or not. They were a bit distracted possibly, with the military personnel coming in for the President's visit the next day. Will use Airspeed when traveling this way.

We stopped in KDHN on our way to KEYW for fuel and want to say to all that read this that you won't find any better service. The facility is nice and the folks were on the ball to get us in and out. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

I stopped at Airspeed twice in August, about two weeks apart. The line staff was outstanding and very helpful. The office staff was just as good. The facility was clean and neat. The flight planning area was very nice and complete. I recommend them highly!

I've parked overnight at many airports and rarely have I had the line crew do EXACTLY what they promised between shifts. This happend at Airspeed, though. Emil promised to have my plane brought around "close to the fuel pump" because I had to depart while they were closed. Talk about close! It was right beside it when I arrived! The staff was very friendly and the line crew that met me upon arrival was the most helpful and enthusiastic I have ever seen. I'm looking for an excuse to go back! Good job guys!

To follow up on my Oct 2004 posting. Not sure what "Brandon" was getting at in his response to my posting, but I did talk to a nice lady at Airspeed about it. She said the young man was no longer employed there. Airspeed did make up for the overcharge on the hangar by sending me a coupon for the next refueling. Anyone can make a mistake and Airspeed promptly took care of it once they were made aware.

We had an unexpected stop April 20, 2006 for charts and the faclities and staff are excellent.

From Tommy Hudson on 09-Apr-2006
Airspeed treated us with the finest service that I have seen in years. Loaned us a late model courtesy car without a fuel purchase. I had to force them to take compensation for the car. I highly recommend Airspeed. What a breath of "Fresh Air"!

Airspeed, why go anywhere else? Arrived in my Bonanza, was directed to parking, and bags hauled to the lobby via cart!! I asked for a ride to my motel, and presto, they gave me a courtesy car for overnight!! very hospitable, and this for a B36TC!! I will be back. P.S. The catfish at Crystal River restaurant Was great!!

From Fletcher Schiller on 27-Mar-2006
Stopped on 3/15 and 3/26. Both times the self serve pump was not working but I was fueled by the truck at the self serve price. Very friendly and helpful staff.

From Renato Donadio on 15-Mar-2006
Excellent FBO! Easy access to self serve 100LL which has a great low price. Easy going and extremely helpful staff make this a good place to stop even if you're flying a C152. Airfield restaurant is located across the street in airline terminal building. They also let me use the courtesy van.

Landed late evening. Young man met my plane & was full of questions about my flight. (he had watched me on the flight monitor on on the wall in the FBO) Offered to hangar the plane since the next morning was going to be cold & frosty. Assisted me with c-car & hotel for the evening. It's nice to see such enthusiasm in aviation today.

Great service at Airspeed! When I called ahead to arrange a rental car, Christy offered a crew car even though I would need it for 4+ hours. Was met by their "follow me" golf cart as I taxied in and directed to parking in front of the office. Fuel order was taken at the airplane and done correctly. The lineman even inquired to make sure he followed proper procedures for an MU-2. This is the way things should happen.

Flew in the day after Christmas after calling ahead and talking to Christi who gave me the gouge. Landed and Demetrius greeted me taking care of everything even parking my cherokee with a tow tug. These two young adults won my business long term for Airspeed. Thanks guys for your great attitudes, during holiday routine, and exceptional southern hospitality! You won my business long term.

From Ray Mansfield on 02-Sep-2005
New owners, very pleasant. Line guys will do anything. Building renovated and looks very nice now, keeping up with the times. I go out of my way to stop there if I can.
