There is extensive work being done at the airport. I was advised via Unicom that runway 22 was in use, and all taxiways closed - use runway and back taxi. A strange marking was at the end (not a usual X) so landed and used 17 to back taxi. When departing found the strange "stuff" at the approach end of the runway 22 was bags denoting the runway closed. BEWARE of Unicom advice at KDHT.

Last stop of day on 4/13/08, coming from S. Cal on way to Kansas. Chuck filled plane for us. I asked about recommended lodging for the evening and he named a couple of places and said that we could use the courtesy pick-up for overnight. What a great place to stop. Made us feel right at home. Thanks a million.

Great, quick service. Very reasonable fuel prices. Definately recommend Ingram when flying accross the southern US.

I've been amazed at the hospitality in the little towns we stopped in on our cross-country journey. Someone marshaled us to the fuel pit and refilled our airplane at the self-serve pumps. We filed a new flight plan and were off in no time.

Don't miss Ingram Flying Service. They define hospitality and friendly service. The first time I stopped, it was after they closed, while dodging summer thunderstorms. Cecil Ingram drove to the airport, helped push me into a hangar and then dropped me off at the local hotel. He then picked me up in the morning. I now make it a habit to stop every time I fly cross-country. Truly a wonderful experience.

The Diner has reopened under new owner/managers and it's great. They should list it on the DHT AirNav page so others know it's there.

The CAFE is closed, bummer! Ingram is still a nice place, good people; however, there is a "for sale" sign up at the FBO.... Not a good sign for the future...

Dusty helped show me how to work the fuel pumps. The bathroom was clean, and the place has Internet access. Thanks!

FANTASTIC! Called ahead since we would be arriving around 9 pm. They left a truck for our use. (What does it say about me when the truck was nicer than either of my vehicles?) Next morning they pulled me over to the fuel island and took care of everything. Sent us over to the cafe for a wonderful $1.99 breakfast! I'll stop here again anytime I am even close to Dalhart!

Stopped in for fuel on my way home from AOPA. One of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had. Food was great at the cafe next door, gas prices were good, and the people were more than friendly. This will become a regular stop for me when I'm in that area of the country. Andy

I cannot say enough about how well Carl Ingram took care of us when we stopped in, as the weather was getting bad. They put our plane in their hangar as soon as we landed. Carl gave us a ride to the hotel and picked us up in the AM. This guy is a true hero for General Aviation. It has been his whole life. This is a must stop. Thanks Carl You Are The Best!!!!!

While stuck due to weather on a x-country trip, the Ingram’s offered true Texas hospitality. We were offered a hangar, use of their computer and transportation into town.

Thank you Mr. Ingram for your hospitality (listening to your handheld, driving out to airport to put the Pitts in the Hangar, and driving me to the Hotel at 8:30PM! You are a true Texas gentleman.

Very nice people. Was able to use their courtesy truck overnight. FBO in good condition with plenty of room for flight planning and relaxing.

Flew in over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Nice folks, facility very outdated. The cafe which is just feet from the ramp has one of the best green chile cheeseburgers and this alone makes it a nice stop; however, gas is never competitive. Borger, TX (nearby) offers much, much cheaper gas.

Good stop, fast service, friendly folks. Let us use a newer model pickup truck overnight for stay in town.
