Excellent FBO. My wife and I set up the rental of a Hertz van a few days before our flight. As soon as we taxied in and parked, the van was driven beside our airplane so we could unload. The nice man (I didn't get his name) working at this FBO then got us through the van rental paperwork quickly and effortlessly and we were on our way. After our vacation was over, turning in the van was also a breeze, and again we were allowed to load our airplane with the van parked next to it. We were very pleased by the outstanding service, personal attention and friendliness we encountered at Baraboo-Dells Flight Center.

Excellent FBO. Bill took great care of us on our two-day stay, arranging a motel and car rental before I could get the plane tied down. He also provided maps and directions to local sites and feeding establishments. We eschewed the carnival attractions for a fantastic tour of the House on a Rock. Try it for yourself, you won't be sorry.

We flew into Baraboo Sat. Night, told the Mgr that we would be leaving the following Tue morning and need topped off. Went to the airport on Mon to pay the fuel charge and take a friend with MS for his last plane ride. Told that we were NOT fueled yet and to park at the pumps upon our return. We got back, parked at the pump and were told that we would be topped off so we could leave early in the morning. We arrived to leave only to find that the plane was NOT fueled and told the reason was that they were low on fuel and we had to wait two hours on the fuel truck to arrive. Spoke to pilots that were fueled already that morning which left 15 of the needed 70 gals. To make things worse a line of thunderstorms coming through which we wanted to beat. We were told to fly to C35 to get the fuel for our trip home, which caused us to have to fly through some turbulent weather unnecessarily. Very poor service and unnecessary anxiety due to poor management decisions.
Response from Bill Murphy, Baraboo-Dells Flight Center Inc. Mr. Hefter, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience. There were a lot of things that happened contributing to your displeasure. The previous day you told me that you would be leaving mid day and at that time I was aware of an incoming load of fuel. My supplier told me that it would be there before 9am so it would have worked had you showed on time. The reason for waiting until the last minute for the load of fuel was to keep our 100LL prices as low as possible. That day the price was coming down 16 cents! Low 100LL prices are important to us because we want nothing more than to see GA survive in this tough economy. Thank you! **Anyone else out there please understand that this was one individual that was difficult to please all along and refer to the prior comments to determine what our team is all about. Professional, efficient, and reasonable service!! See you all very soon!

Flew into Baraboo for a Fourth of July weekend, and when we got back to the plane for departure 2 days later, I found out I had a dead battery due to a luggage compartment light that was left on. The crew at Baraboo Flight Center along with the Fly High Helicopter Tour crew helped me get the Saratoga jumped, and we were on our way in less than 15 minutes. Excellent FBO and very reasonable. We will be back, and thanks for the rescue!!

Stopped in a Luscombe after a Citation arrived . . . Got forgotten in the shuffle. Self-serve avgas is available, but we didn't notice the credit card machine (on the Citation's side of the island) until the rest of business was taken care of. It may be covered when you stop but is working.

Great service during stormy days visiting Wisconsin Dells area. I called FBO owner/president Bill a few hours before arrival and he met the plane with very reasonably priced Hertz rental car staged on apron. During the stormy weekend, attendant Bobbie also provided great service and managed hangaring plane. A small item for plane that was left on apron was quickly found and mailed. Overall, a very pleasant experience at KDLL!

Flew in on a Thursday afternoon for a long weekend in the Dells. Was met immediately given a great welcome by Bill Murphy (the President of the FBO) and he pulled the rental car up to the plane for quick unloading. He put my plane in a hangar and took great care of it through a terribly stormy weekend. On Saturday after tornadoes were seen throughout the area, a quick call to the airport and Bill reassured me that everything was fine there. When we left on Monday Bill was still there (does he ever go home?) and had the plane pulled out and fueled for us. Fantastic experience!

Flew in for convention. They handled the car rental, re-fueling of my Seneca and my guests with professionalism and friendliness we should all strive for in our businesses. Great Job!

I had business in the area so I brought the family along to enjoy the Kalahari water park overnight while I was there. Flew into DLL and was greeted by a lineman who turned out to be the young President of The Baraboo-Dells Flight Center, Mr. Bill Murphy. I had called ahead to order a minivan and before we all got out of the plane, Bill had pulled the van up and was helping load our bags. This is a hospitable, small town airport with big time service. Fuel prices were in the mid-$4.00 range which is reasonable in today's environment. Check 'em out! John Urschalitz

Great folks at KDLL! Highly recommend. Stopped in during Oshkosh and they were most accommodating. Provided a hangar for my plane and washed all the bugs off the leading edge and windshield. Will definitely stop in next time.

What great people here at DLL! I made all arrangements by e-mail. (We flew in from CA) I could tell they were a bit busy when we arrived, but they still had the rental car in place behind the plane with the trunk open by the time I had the plane taxied into position for push back to parking. Super service as they say!
