Stopped for fuel 9/18. Price was higher than listed here, but I understand, that happens. Ground would not "click" so it would stay unreeled even though I fiddled for several minutes. Fuel hose had the same problem - not easy to fuel up while the darn thing keeps trying to reel back in. The only positive thing I have to say about this airport is that the ladder was a good one.

Flew in saturday, fuel prices were up. Terminal was locked at 1000 am local time, mexican restaurant appeared to be out of business. What's up?? Have been in several times before with friendly staff in the terminal, clean rest rooms, and good mex food??? Not a soul around on saturday am at a g.a. airport// yikes!!!

First time at Delano Municipal Airport to fill up with less expensive fuel then my home base. Easy in and out, pumps working with receipt.

Nice little airport with the best price on fuel in the southern part of the valley. Mexican restaurant directly out the door of the terminal. Friendly attendant. I will use DLO for fuel between southern NV anytime I'm headed northern CA.

Stopped for fuel today at Delano and found it easy to operate the self-serve pump and obtain a receipt. The two folks manning the airport office that day were very friendly and made us feel at home.

Delano is a great place to stop, buy fuel and eat. Fuel was $5.40 as advertised, but the receipt that came out of the self-serve machine had run out of ink and the receipt could not be read. No biggie. The city of Delano keeps the airport terminal nice and clean and has done a nice job of keeping the airport available for use and friendly.

Nice clean airport, terminal, restrooms, flight computer, coffee pot. Seemed kind of slow but it was a Wednesday morning; all in all, good stop. Didn't try Delfin's, but the reports are positive in the past.

Lost brakes on landing for a refuel at Delano. Ben Diaz with Diaz Aircraft Service came in on a Sunday and assessed the problem. Aircraft fixed next day. Extremely competent, easy to work with and fair. Am considering flying from KCRQ to Diaz for my annual. This guy is great.
