I stopped at Kearney on 2/15/2008 on my way from Sacramento, CA to Hagerstown, MD in my 177RG and couldn't have been more pleased. I called and they told me they normally close at 8:00 but I was going to be a little late and they told me no problem. They also said they would let me borrow the crew car for the night to get into town and I could put the plane in the hangar to keep the frost off for $25. Drew waited for me (a younger guy that stayed late on a Friday night, I really appreciated it, I'm sure he had better things to do than wait on me). The car wasn't perfect but it was free and sure beat walking and got me to the hotel and back, all I needed. All in all a great stop. They fueled the plane sometime between 8:30pm and 6:30 the next morning and it was ready to go when I got there. Thanks for the help.

A really good fuel stop with helpful, friendly staffing. Good Internet access and lounge areas.

I had flown in for a quick family gathering back in August 2007. Prices were reasonable and staff was very prompt. Some of the best in the area. This is an area that I often visit for either fuel stops or to visit family in the area. My biggest hesitation to returning to this airport is the lack of ground transportation available. I was told there would be a courtesy car available for my short trip into town, so I didn't pursue a rental vehicle. While I don't expect grand luxury from a loaner car, their courtesy car was an old, rundown Junker with bad brakes, power windows that didn't work, and no AC. No AC in August is just miserable in this part of the country. If you do need to fly in to Kearney, you may want to provide your own ground transportation. On a side note, the City of Kearney could greatly benefit from giving more support to their aviation sector. Especially since the city it relatively isolated.

Stopped overnight in Kearney. The line staff was great; hand towed the plane into the hangar for the night. Had a planned departure the next AM and had to wait for a thunderstorm or two to pass. Watched the entire team scramble as the storm neared, quickly they moved all aircraft to cover and handled each one like the professionals they are. I would stop here again and look forward to the same great service as this trip.

Stopped overnight at Air Midway. Line boy was waiting and marshaled me in to parking spot on ramp. Arranged courtesy car. Hanger overnight fee was a super-reasonable $25! Made sure that plane was topped off and ready to go at the appointed time. Nice facility and Great Service!! I'll be back.

Stopped at Kearney on our way to Steamboat Springs. Excellent service. Brought out the courtesy car and let us use it for the overnight for us to get to the hotel. Saved us the cost of a cab and the convenience of the car. Many hotel choices. We stayed at the Wingate. Very nice hotel. We'll be stopping here again. Great Job Midway!

Friendly people and good service. If you spend the night and have kids, the Holiday Inn will pick you up and they have a small water park for the family. No kids, you might want to consider another hotel if your there on the weekend.

Wow! The crew at Air Midway was exceptional. I was greeted by a baton-wielding lineperson, was escorted to the FBO where I filled out a card to choose the gas & oil to use on my plane while hangared there. Was filled immediately, was pulled out & ready when requested, and a week's worth of heated hangar time in March was only $50 TOTAL! Couldn't believe it! Great crew at Air Midway!! Will definitely visit again!

We just bought a new plane and had to fly it from Denver Colorado back to New Jersey. On our way back, we saw this airport on the map and called them up on the radio to see if they had any fuel and preheat. They responded and said they did, and that they had room in their heated hangar for the night. They also said they had a courtesy car and had it warmed up for us when we got there. Great service, lemme tell you. It was our favorite airport we landed at on the way home.
