Otis Flight Service gives first class highly disciplined service. I highly recommend stopping there for fuel or to stay overnight. Motels and car rentals were inexpensive.

Stopped by on our way to OMA to visit the Arch. CFI Tom, also the lineman of the day, was very diplomatic in letting us know that to use the courtesy car we needed to leave a $25 rental fee or purchase 25 gallons of fuel. Nice facility under remodel. Tom was very professional and hangared our 182 during the 100-degree heat at no charge. Great folks make a great place and I agree - to use the courtesy car you need to purchase fuel.

Nice folks and a quick turn in windy conditions. They're in the process of remodeling the facility, but it's the people that make the place go. Would definitely return

A very friendly and accommodating operation. Even though we arrived over an hour later than planned on a Sunday night, the Otis crew had our rental car ready and running by our aircraft even as we tied down and unloaded. Same helpful and friendly attitude the next day when we left after a fun morning watching the Sandhill Cranes east of town.

Our 900 Turbo Commander is home based at EAR and Otis Air. The new service is the best we get anywhere we go nationwide. Great fuel prices too. Line service continually makes our 'Best Of' list.

Visited Otis in Kearney again on 12/5/08 (first visit was 10/10/08- ten days after their opening). I found that things have improved and had the opportunity to chat with the owner of Otis and hear of the improvements and his ideas. First: lineman "Drew" was quick to park me at 7:15 am and was very helpful and courteous. He was also very good to help pull chocks and marshall me out when I departed less than 2 hours later. Good job! Otis has put in some seating and has a flat panel TV upstairs and a fridge with pop in it and a coffee pot downstairs. They have an Internet computer and wireless too. I understand they also offer flight instruction in a Cessna 172. Just before I left I was told of the new ramp fee imposed by Otis, $35 or buy 35 gallons of gas. At the time their Avgas was a dollar or more expensive than the regional competition and it was cheaper to pay the ramp fee and buy gas nearby at the next stop.
