Lineman met us at the plane with red carpet. Fuel was priced based on service. Friendly staff. The facility is top notch! Impressive passenger stop to rest while refueling. This was a fueling stop for us on the way to KJAC from So. Cal.

The transient ramp has no permanent tiedowns, but the FBO will bring nice ropes out if you are staying overnight. If you are looking for a quick, no-frills East/West fuel stop in the area, Wells (LWL) self-serve is considerably cheaper. However Elko is a good overnight stop with all the Basque restaurants, casino and reasonable lodging (liked the Thunderbird), all within walking distance of the field.

Great new FBO building with nice facilities!! Elko also is an excellent overnight stop; try to eat at one of the three Basque restaurants in town. Wow, all the food, and delicious!! These are very popular eateries for the locals too!!

Stop in there every time I head up north. The service is excellent. There weren't any ropes to tie down so one of the linemen went and found some rope and chocks for my plane. They even have a new facility. Highly recommend for a cross-country stop for fuel or even the night..
Response from Ginna Reyes, General Manager of El Aero Services, KEKO El Aero Services in ELKO has just opened a wonderful new 7,500 sq. ft. FBO and 10,000 sq.ft. Heated hangar to better serve our general aviation customers. We now offer a new luxurious private passenger lounge featuring a floor to ceiling fireplace, large picture windows, and the best hospitality to be found in Northern Nevada. For our pilots- a separate private pilots lounge with a BIG screen (HD) TV. We also offer a new flight planning room, business center, two conference rooms, complimentary WiFi throughout the facility, and even shower facilities. You will find this FBO/Hangar is a general aviation oasis. Please stop in for some warm hospitality, a cup of coffee- and a tour of our new FBO.

Nice folks but be prepared to tie your aircraft down yourself and get a rental car from the main terminal. While fuel services are handled just fine, that's about the extent of any FBO standard services.

Fast friendly service, before we could get out of the plane the fuel truck was there. They have a courtesy phone inside so you can call any of the hotel shuttles.

They had what I needed, the staff was responsive and kind, and they actually had oxygen, unlike some larger places I visited. I can recommend visits to the Lamoille Canyon, Secret Pass, and the local Basque restaurants.

Good airport and good fuel prices. FBO facility is pretty bare bones, but does have a planning computer and two crew cars. Excellent cross-country fuel stop.
