Visited Taylor Aviation again on 5/26/2008 and as always Oscar & Mitch were outstanding. You just can't beat the service and hospitality of this FBO!

Stopped by Friday and Sunday on way to and from the beach. Service and facilities exceeded my expectations, and my expectations were high after reading all these glowing reviews. If you're in need of being treated like a person and not an N-number, be sure to stop here.

It has been two years since my last comment for EYF, so I want to restate my unqualified recommendation of this fuel stop. Service, price and friendliness that can't be beat.

Stopped in returning from Sun n' Fun. As I approached, I called in for airport advisories and requested refueling a hot dog and hamburger. They had me refueled with the food ready for a quick turn. Great people, good prices, good facility, quick service, and a great burger. Thanks.

It has all been said. A great stop if it is on the way... And even if it isn't. Good people, great fuel prices and they have free Whoppers candy at the front desk. What more could you ask for?

Outstanding support, excellent facilities, top-notch personnel. Oscar (owner) and Mitch (General Manager) Taylor responded with calm professionalism and innovative flexibility when our when our military aircrew encountered an unexpected situation and needed special assistance. They went above and beyond all reasonable expectations, working well into the night, safely and smartly responding to challenges, and providing gracious hospitality to our Marines. We are very appreciative of and were impressed by their capabilities and services.

My husband and I stopped in Elizabethtown on the way to New England this fall, and on the way back. We were treated like royalty-Oscar met us at the fuel pump, helped with the fueling, provided a courtesy car, and sent us to a great restaurant for lunch!! Fuel prices were low-can't be beat!! We will be back again.

Southern hospitality at its finest. Owner Oscar Taylor (retired Delta) makes you welcome from the first moment (tying down the airplane before you even get out) to the last (bringing out cold water and an apple for the trip). He made available an excellent courtesy car, recommended good restaurants, and got a room at the motel. Prices as advertised and very reasonable. I recommend without qualification.

This is an awesome fuel stop friendly service, clean/modern facilities, courtesy car, and cheap gas. They also have good prices on oil and filters -- stock up on your way home and save shipping. The Front Porch restaurant was excellent. Thanks for the hospitality!

In April, I was in a flight of 2 CH-46s that had to make a precautionary landing at this airfield due to weather. I was the pilot in command of the second aircraft, and like the other Marines in our flight, ready to get home from the ferry flight that was already behind schedule. When we couldn't push the weather any farther, we turned back to the closest airstrip, which was Elizabethtown. It was the best decision we probably made the whole trip. This FBO was the most helpful and accommodating of any I have seen. It is the type of town where all the good things in America are alive and well. It is the type of airport where you will want to sit and talk to whoever happens by. The facilities are comfortable and the staff eminently courteous, professional, and hospitable. It was a rejuvenating experience that salvaged the rest of our trip, and though we didn't expect such a warm display of Southern hospitality, these nine Marines are glad we stopped. --

Great airport to head into. I highly recommend grabbing a courtesy car and heading to Melvin's in town. Carolina-style burgers and hot dogs for super cheap make the trip well worth it. Staff at the FBO is very friendly and helpful.

Stopped through April 20th 2007 along with a lot of other airplanes returning from Sun-n-Fun. Hamburger and Hotdog waiting on the grill. One of the most hospitable stops I have ever experienced. Recommended that you stop and visit these folks.

Heading north from Sun 'n Fun got low on fuel and stopped in. After landing, they called me on Unicom and asked if I wanted a hamburger and hot dog added to the grill. Free food plus 100LL at $3.48 for cash. Great facility and hospitality.

I fly up to KMEB from Daytona Beach every time I can. Usually make it non-stop to MEB in the Cessna. But I'll grab 5 gallons from KMEB for security and head to EYF. The service/prices cannot be matched. I came late one night and they had turned off the pumps because of a storm. By the time I was out of my plane the FBO clerk had heard me landing on the radio from his house and had driven to the airport to cut the pump on for me. NOW THAT IS SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST.

I stopped in on the way from PA to FL for fuel. The service and prices were great. Some lunch and great conversation with local pilots turned this fuel stop into a fun intermission to a long trip. Great place to stop. Thanks Mitch! Much better! We will return; once again it was a great experience.

I use this airport as my fuel stop between NY and Florida with my family. Service from Mitch is outstanding, fuel is well priced and good restaurants are a short drive away in the crew car. Say hi to Mitch for me from N95GF.

Stopped to fuel for an angel flight. Mitch beat me out to the pumps and fueled me for a quick turnaround to my final destination. This has got to be one of the friendliest, courteous FBOs I have seen. This would be a great stop for trips up and down the coast.

If the cost of fuel is not enough to make you land here, the friendly service should be. Mitch was great. Helped fuel the airplane at the S/S and was a true southern gentleman. Hope to make my way back over there again.

The best FBO I have ever visited. I fly from NJ to FL several times a year, and always try to stop at EYF. Even beyond the low fuel prices, their Southern Hospitality is unsurpassed. Whenever have you experienced an FBO addressing you personally by name when you announce your position on the Unicom?

Well, the comments below may say it all, but I HAD to add mine after a half dozen fuel stops between my NH home base and FL. Oscar and family should give lessons for the entire world on how to run a "pilot-friendly" FBO! Neat, immaculate, generous service to a fault, and the least expensive fuel around. On one of our stops my wife accidentally left a piece of jewelry in their ladies room, and when she discovered it and called them a couple days later, they had already retrieved it and had it on its way to her. We can't even imagine that happening in many other places! Also, a nice, smooth, long runway and 24 hour convenient access to either avgas or jet A self-serve. It doesn't get any better than this!

Called before I went as I was going to arrive late. Couldn't do enough for me. Left the door in back open so I could use the restrooms. Also, note that their 24/7 self-serve pumps REAL fast.

GREAT PLACE TO STOP! Twenty other positive comments below - no need to read further, Oscar and crew are the best!! Gas prices are extremely competitive; service is excellent, great facility, car available, hot coffee freshly brewed. I wish that I could have stayed for a week! This is a must stop if anywhere in the area to see how a quality operation is run.

Not much to add to previous comments - this is now our only fuel stop on the way to Florida. FBO manager says they are getting a GCO connection to Fayetteville Approach so IFR departures can be obtained while holding for takeoff.

I want to thank you for yesterday's lunch and fill up. N154CD Cirrus, we stopped from Sun & Fun on our way home to N47 (PA) I will stop there whenever I am in the area for fuel. I also run a FBO at N47 and must say you guys are great, it is a real pleasure to meet people like you. I will let people know about you when ever I here any coming your way to stop there for fuel and friendship. Any time you are in the area of Pottstown please stop in I would love to return the hospitality.

Fantastic service. Arrived for fuel and a quick bite on the way back from Florida. The crew car was busy so Oscar tossed us the keys to his truck ("you know how to drive a truck?"). Giorgio's was packed (beware the after church crunch at noon on Sunday), but we grabbed a fast food bite and were on our way. This is my N-S fuel stop from now on.

Oscar and Mitch are true gems in this crazy run around world. I love stopping here. So for 5 cents more per gal [than CPC], you get 24 hour self serve (which if Oscar is there is always full serve), a great crew car, some nice food especially up at Georgios, the friendliest FBO folks you ever met and a clean FBO as well. This is where you want to stop - I even stop here during the daylight hours because I want the Taylors to stay in business for a long time.

On my way to/from FL last week, I needed to stop in the area for fuel. In the past, I have stopped 20 mi south of EYF due to the very low fuel prices, and quick turn. Problem was, I was coming in after 6pm in each case last week. The folks at EYF were there to fuel me both times, in part, because they were also tracking my northbound flight on with flight tracking software. EXCELLENT service, NICE facilities, GREAT fuel prices, self-serve after-hours, courtesy car and free malted milk balls....What more could you want??? I have found my new fuel stop in the area. Check it out!

Great place to buy fuel. Have been using them for the past year on my trips to Florida. Only FBO I have found that will wait for you, be at the pumps as you taxi up, fill up and have you out of there in less than 20 minutes. Great people, great service, don't miss it!!

Old-fashioned hospitality lives on at Taylor Aviation. By itself, the reception I received would make me want to come back. There's more: a nice field, a brand-new looking terminal, and the best price for 100LL I've seen in a long while. Highly recommended.

I stopped here on the way to ISM, and I was met by the owner who filled my turbine Bonanza within minutes with Jet-A at the best price in the area. The FBO is spotless with computerized and phone flight planning. Within minutes, I was on my way. The runway and taxiways are in superb condition with a number of approaches. This is an excellent stop with a friendly, efficient staff, and great prices to boot.
