Right main landing gear light did not come on, on approach and flight instructor Ferdi Mack was very helpful with visual confirmation of gear operation and intro to Dave Kenney who quickly found a loose wire and repaired without delay.

Landed 3/13/09. This is a great way to get to Baltimore without the expense and hassle of BWI. I've tried Martin State. It is much less pleasant. Candy Poole is nice and extremely efficient. The fuel is reasonably priced. One can park 200 feet from the FBO door. Pilot briefing area is complete. It’s outside the ADIZ. I plan to use this FBO when I return to the Baltimore area. It's one of the best FBO's I've ever used. I fly a single engine plane.

We flew in late (after closing time) Monday 1/5/09 I had called earlier and spoke to Jenny who said they would have someone waiting for us. They did!! Amazing people at this FBO. When we got in the awful but, our hotel reservations were made as well as our rental car was at the door. It had been a trying trip up, weather, wind, ice, rain and we appreciated the ease at which Landmark made things happen. Next day we had their maintenance work on a problem, the maintenance people were great, fixed the problem immediately at a very reasonable charge. We always use Landmark if they are at the airports we go to. They are the best.

Flew into FDK for some night landings on Tuesday evening. For some reason the nose tire went flat just before the second takeoff. It was close to 9pm and everybody was ready to go home. Still Zack came out to tow us back to the ramp, slowly and patiently without damaging the nosewheel pant. Here a crew car was sitting ready for us to return the next morning. By 10am the next morning the tire was fixed. Thanks to an excellent team we were on our way shortly. Thanks Zack, Sabrina? and Sarah for the coordination and help.

Recently there to pick up a ferry plane... "Julie" working the weekend was EXTREMELY helpful in making accomodation for us and a pet - room/vehicle etc. Thanks Julie!! We wish every FBO in our travels had staff like her!

Encore Aviation has allowed us to use their Boardroom for the last two Midwinter Board meetings of the Mid-Atlantic Section of The Ninety-Nines. Its a nice venue right on the field, there is no charge, and they put out water and beverages for us. Julie O'Brien has been very helpful in setting this up, and the FBO staff is very hospitable. Great service!

I have been flying out of FDK for several years. The Encore FBO at FDK is new, but they have kept some of the employees from the prior operation. The best of those, and in fact the best customer service person I have ever run into at any FBO across the country, is Sabrina, who works the front desk there. It's almost worth scheduling your trip around the hours that Sabrina will be working. She makes flying in and out of FDK a pleasure.

Some friends and I flew to FDK yesterday, 3 January. WE arrived about 930 AM. After securing the plane, we went in to the FBO. Sabrina Burnett could not have been any more friendly and courteous! She answered our questions and provided requested amenities. When I was in area of the front desk, I noticed her kind and gentle demeanor toward all with whom she came in contact. Good service and very friendly folks. Rental car discount for AOPA members. Ramp fee of 12.00 per night was a surprise but they gave me a one-night discount. Possibly waived if fuel purchase was greater? Don't know but worth asking about next time. Service was excellent! Thanks The Adair’s N205AC

Nice facility with all the amenities BUT any FBO that won't give even a token discount to Angel Flight will never make it to my personal list of outstanding FBO's. Fifty-eight gallons of 100LL were pumped into my plane and I couldn't get even a few pennies knocked off my fuel bill! Next time, I'll arrange my links at another airport.

Stayed at Encore for three days for AOPA fly-in. excellent service, friendly people who didn't miss any details. I was a vendor for the fly-in and needed extra assistance to get my stuff across the street Encore was very helpful. The one item missing was the complimentary cookies (just kidding). Great job by everyone.
