Great Northern hospitality! My wife and I got stuck here due to wx and Clyde helped me contact all the car rental agencies, but no cars were available. He also offered to drive us to a motel, but a local pilot, Rodney B., graciously offered us one of his cars, for as long as we needed it, to get to our destination. We used the car for 3 days; otherwise we would have been stranded for those 3 days, due to the wx.

Good personnel attend this airport and welcomed me after hours and in a driving rainstorm. Saw to it that I was tied down, and then gave me a ride to a local Comfort Inn as it was 'on their way home'. Helped arrange for a long distance car service the next day as Thunderstorms were walling off my departure. Very friendly to this vagabond transient pilot...
