Bisti will NOT be selling fuel for the foreseeable future. The only source of fuel at FMN currently is Atlantic/7 Bar.

From Dave Morris on 05-May-2008
Fuel prices are substantially lower than the other FBO on the field, although they are both very friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the distance between the tie down and the terminal building. They will shuttle you back and forth as often as you need. Very friendly and helpful people, and great prices. Nice clean restroom.

I stopped in without notice on a Sunday afternoon. I had no response to my UNICOM call but was surprised to find a young lady in a business skirt and jacket guiding me into parking. (the weekend ground crew was refueling commercial aircraft at the time) I found the facility to be clean, in good form and having great coffee even at noon. Very good service that will cause me to divert when ever in the area.

From William Oberg on 17-Dec-2007
We stopped in FMN for the night. The line person met us and helped tie down the airplane. He then gave us a ride to the office. They called a hotel and made a reservation for us and then loaned us a vehicle for the night. In the morning they helped pre-heat the engine and hand-propped to get it started since the battery didn't last long enough in the 12 degree cold. All this and they refused a even tip! There was no charge for the tiedown and no requirement to buy gas, but I bought 10 gallons anyway since I was mostly full. The people here were very professional and extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend people use their services when in the area.

There are 34 other comments here because this is simply an AWESOME FBO. The only negative was having to park so far from the building, but the line guys were quick to take us to and from the plane. Great fuel price, two PCs with internet, cheap fuel for purchase in the fridge/freezer (many choices), free cars to town, free popcorn, friendly, and best of all, all the jelly beans you can eat!

AWESOME! I'll stop here every time I need a refuel stop. Nice, Friendly, Fast -GREAT!

Landing to the east, keep taxiing past the tower to Bisti. Linemen flagged me down, chocked the plane and refueled me on the spot. They drove us into their modest but adequate FBO office where I could check weather on the computer. There were numerous well-stocked vending machines as well. They offered us a crew car but we just needed a gas-n-go. Best of all, over 50 cents cheaper on the fuel than the other more centrally located FBO on the field. Definitely ask for Bisti passing through Farmington.

Top-notch service. Was met by the fuel truck and was able to get gassed up and off loaded pretty quickly. I had called ahead and they arranged for a hotel at the crew rate. The crew car was available and was given that for the night. The dinner at Three Rivers was great. Would recommend to anyone passing through Four Corners.

First stop east bound to Rhode Island and the final stop west bound to Bermuda Dunes. Both stops we were immediately met by the Bisti fuel truck, after taking our fuel order we were shuttled to the office where we were invited to help ourselves to anything in the well stocked refrigerator, soda, water and snacks. After paying our fuel bill we where shuttled back to our Bonanza and found it topped off and the windshield washed. Great service and a convenient stop, we'll definitely return.

What a great place! We had called ahead to check on getting a ride to a hotel; when we arrived Michelle met us with a vehicle, helped tie down the plane, drove us back to the FBO, arranged a hotel room at a discounted crew rate, and recommended dinner at "3 Rivers" (which was awesome!). The car was ours for the night, the fuel was inexpensive, and we were driven to our airplane the next morning. Totally a top-notch organization, which places a premium on great customer service!

From Fred Wolf on 13-Nov-2006
Our experience was very positive, great and friendly service, we had to turn back and spend the night here due to weather up ahead. They loaned us a car overnight and got us a deep discount at the local Best Western. Very friendly and competent service.

From William Shepard on 12-Oct-2006
Great service and a good fuel price. We stopped enroute for fuel and a break. The fueling ramp is about 100 yards from their hangar and facility. They gave us a ride to and from the airplane. The facility was clean and comfortable. They apparently are negotiating with the city for another location.

I visited Bisti Aviation October 3 and 8, 2006 on the way to ABS in COS. The weather wasn't the best going so we decided to stay the night. The Service was excellent. They called a local motel to secure a low price. They also let my wife and I use a vehicle to drive to the motel. We stopped on the return trip also. Tequilas is a great place to have dinner.

From Mike Schutz on 29-Aug-2006
Aug 18th Excellent! Visited them twice on same day after I was turned around by weather. Great set up in the pilots lounge, with a refrigerator stocked with all kinds of goodies. Had to spend the night and they have a couple great crew cars, one of which they loaned me, free of charge. I was given special attention by the staff with parking, tie down, and fuel ECT. Would make it a regular stop when in that area.

From Don McKee on 31-Jul-2006
The guys at Bisti went way behind the call of duty to help us during our visit. It's people like these that make flying so much more enjoyable. I usually fly in the eastern part of the US, but would have no problem visiting here again. Great job, guys.

From Jack Olsen on 11-Jul-2006
Bisti Aviation was very efficient with parking, short ride to FBO and refueling. Very accomodating. Even offered car for lunch. I'll use Bisti again when stopping for fuel.

Parked and tied down on the ramp at Bisti Aviation on 23 June 2006 in record time. Needed to walk the short distance to the FBO, but the friendly line crew had me in wheels with air conditioning faster than "God could get the word!" Bisti Aviation wanted to loan me a car, but as I was at FMN for four days I opted for a rental, and I was promptly driven to the Hertz counter at the main terminal. I was provided a gate key pass so that I could access my plane over the weekend. Departure day I was provided prompt and efficient fuel service, although I only took on 25 gallons. Friendly personnel, great service, excellent FBO. Most highly recommended..........

It's hard to come up with any unique comments in addition to the other outstanding ones below. First clue of this outstanding FBO was the fact that Don, the owner, immediately came out and greeted us to get us situated, and offered a courtesy car, which we gladly accepted. It was a nice feeling that we were his only customers, which we certainly weren't! At one point I had problems getting the engine started; Don jumped in and had me going in about two minutes. In addition to having the best fuel price on the field, there was no overnight parking or ramp fee (at least for my single engine airplane). Like to thank Eric for all his great help in fueling us, doing the windows, and parking the airplane. We gave their beautiful pilot lounge and work area a real workout--we really appreciated the nice computer setup, printer, and well-stocked refrigerator. As we taxied out to leave, the morning of our third day, everyone waved a friendly goodbye to us. You sure don't see that in Los Angeles!!

Arrived on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at about 6:30 PM not really knowing if I would find anybody around, if there would be transportation available, or even a motel room. I was greeted by a friendly young lady (sorry I forgot her name! :( ) who topped off my fuel tanks and offered me a courtesy car that *gasp* I could have for the night. Not the cool old Belvedere reported by others, but a mid-80s Buick Century, I believe. Whatever, it was fine transport for free. She pointed me to a motel down the hill but they were booked, so I ended up at La Quinta. Cheap and comfortable. I felt very well treated by Bisti, and that my business was wanted. I would definitely stop here again and will heartily recommend the same to others. Thanks for the great service!

I visited Bisti Aviation in March, 2005 and was greeted by Donald Sitta. He called a local no-frills motel, Kings Inn, to secure a low price. Don then offered me the use of his pickup to drive to the motel. When we got to the truck, I hesitated because it was a stick shift, with which I had little experience. Don immediately offered me his wife's car. While she ran out to remove a few dishes from a recent party, Don walked me to the fence and pointed out the route to the motel. The car had a rattling door and an inoperative interior light, but I was stunned to find all his wife's keys on her keyring when I got to the motel. The next morning, Don had triple-chocked my plane and had completely washed off the sand it had accumulated at UDD. I had never asked him to do any of these things; he just volunteered. Several weeks later, I sent him a small check in appreciation, and he was quite humble about accepting it. Don and his wife are very trusting, generous, wonderful people.

Stopped 12/18. Very prompt friendly service. Hightly recommend. Will use them again.

From Roscoe Griffin on 30-Jan-2006
Exceptional service on Jan 21 and 28. Upon landing, the flight line person noticed I had a low tire and he took care of it for me with no charge. Bitsi also had excellent variety of snacks at very reasonable charge. They have my business.

From Robert Weseman on 17-Dec-2005
My wife and I stopped in Farmington on 07-16-05 for an overnight and fuel. The next morning during run-up I discovered an engine problem that needed attention. We were at 7bar aviation and since they didn't have a mechanic they referred us to Bisti. Don was not there, but came in on his day off. He confirmed my diagnoses, then helped me start the work and locate the needed parts before turning me loose in his shop to finish the work and went back home. Before he left he set us up at a nearby motel with his "crew" rate and provided a "classic" 1963 Plymouth Belvedere for transportation. It wasn't a "creampuff" but served the purpose just fine. I finished up the repair the next morning and after we checked things out my wife and I headed for Baker Oregon. Thanks, Don, for all your help and hope to see you again.

From Mike Jacobs on 29-Nov-2005
We flew into FMN on November 25 2005. We used Bisti they met us at the airplane with a Suburban and let us drive it down to the office while they fueled the plane. The owner loaned us an old pickup overnight, we told him we were doing some sight seeing, he said just put some gas in the truck. The truck was a little rough but it served our needs. Their service is outstanding. Will definitely go back.

From Ray Sagui on 29-Nov-2005
Great service and best AvGas prices on the field. Called day prior to arrange arrival time (not req'd), called them 10 minutes out, they met me at the airplane. It was bitter cold, so they put my plane in the hangar with a blanket and heater (nice warm air came out of the engine bay when checking the oil 6 hrs later). I did my preflight in the hangar and was about to help push the plane out, when they said "Nope, climb in, we'll pull you out. No need for you or the engine to get any colder than necessary before you start" I only needed 14 gallons to top off, but you get the feeling they'd be just as helpful if you bought one gallon. If a ride is coming to pick you up, tell them to go to Gate G4 and have them call Bisti via cell phone to come let them through. No direct road access to the FBO (or flight-line), but with proper coordination it is no hassle at all.

From Brent Winget on 21-Nov-2005
This was at least the third time I have stopped in for gas. Totally friendly and helpful, a person couldn't ask for better service and willingness to be of help. Again the price was right and that keeps me coming back. Great line help too.

From Paul Muth on 02-Oct-2005
The only place to fuel, a little out of the way but well worth it, very friendly, normaly fuel @ CEZ but D-alt kept me from going into CEZ, expect 150 fpm climn in a C-150 off 22 @ gross, good thermals over rocks to the north.

From Mark A. Leuzinger on 06-Sep-2005
I flew in for fuel the evening of August 31 and the service was fantastic. I love the 1951 Dodge pickup truck. The competitor down the field answered my call on unicom and was quite short with me when I said I was going to Bisti. Great service and great prices.
