GREAT place, ask for the Andy salad, as it is not on the menu, but is my favorite Also, eat outside on the deck, great view of the runway.

I fly here often from Pittsburgh in my Cirrus SR-22. Some have said they don't like the FBO, but I have no complaints. They park the plane, fuel price is no more outrageous than any other FBO in the area, and they do not charge a landing fee for day trips. The Shady Grove Metro stop is an $8.00 cab ride away, and the FBO will call a cab as soon as you land if you ask them via Unicom. Trips to anywhere in the Washington area are only about $4.00 on the Metro. Talking to Potomac Approach Control is easy on the remote frequency on the ground. Just remember to file to EMI (Westminster VOR) as the initial departure fix when north or westbound, and departing the ADIZ will be a breeze. It is my favorite airport in the Washington area. There is also a decent restaurant in the terminal building.
