Quality big city FBO. Friendly staff, nice facility. Drinks/cookies. Parked up front with the KingAir. Recommend this place!

We flew in to GEU in a V35 to make a deal on another V35. The entire staff at LUX Air was very helpful. They carried us over to the Cafe, they help with the inspection of the plane we were buying and went out of their way to help us.

Glendale Aviation has been sold and is now Lux Air Glendale I was told they no longer offer flight training and they are no longer a Cessna dealer. It does look like a high-class bizjet FBO now. The building has been remodeled, redecorated and refurbished and the usual crowds of attractive jet center personnel types are working there now.

Flew in again from California. Again, Excellent service. Stayed for a week and the tie down for the entire time was waved with a fuel purchase. I like that I am able to drive the Enterprise Car Rental up to the airplane to load and unload my luggage. The line personal helped me tie down and secure my plane. I have to return early next year for another seminar, and of course, I will be using Glendale Aviation

Good airport and helpful tower. Lots of good tie downs in front of administration building. Overnight tie downs on the honor system. Didn't buy fuel cause outbound took us over CZG.

Flew in on 9/1 in 115 degree heat. Nice folks, nice facility. Had rental car waiting with Enterprise on site. No complaints, would recommend.

Great service... I flew into Glendale on Sunday for a weeklong seminar. After landing, I called Glendale Aviation on Unicom 122.95 and was directed where to tie down. During unloading my plane, someone drove up in one of those gulf carts and offered assistance to help load and carry my luggage to there terminal. Made the necessary arrangements for the plane and walked over to Enterprise to rent a car. All in a nice air-condition terminal. At the end of my stay, they filled the plane and only charged for 3 of 7 nights of tie down fees ($3.75 a night). Drove the rental car up to my plane and loaded my luggage. Returned the car and I was on are way. Tower was helpful, the let me do a right crosswind departure to go direct to Buckeye VOR. If back in the area, I will use Glendale Aviation again.

I'm a student pilot at another flight school at KGEU, but we use GA for our fuel services, apart from some long waits for fuel (though they always tell me what # in line I'm in) service has been great. Stayed open a few minutes past their normal fuel truck closing hours to fuel my SR20 for a night X-Country, otherwise we wouldn't have gone anywhere. Also used the CATS testing center. Great service from the folks up front. Were even honorable enough to fill me in when they realized I double paid for my test, both to CATS when I scheduled it and when I showed up 2 days later to take the test. Thanks guys, that's $90 bucks I'm sure you'll get back from me at some point.

Earned my PPL with Glendale Aviation. Service can be hit and miss, but is usually outstanding. Flew one of their 172SP's yesterday for an all-day cross-country and they were very accommodating. My daughter became ill right before we left, and they provided us with snacks and sick sacks to help the situation, which was way above and beyond my expectations. Rental planes vary in quality, but the newer models are generally fairly well maintained considering the training abuse they receive. Because of the good service, I continue to come back.

Counter personnel unwilling to help find hotel or rental car, but charged $250 ramp fee. Asked to fax form of our arrival/departure dates. Told they would have to stay until midnight if they took info over phone from everyone. Maintenance issues upon arrival. Asked head mechanic James Butler to pull screen to inspect for FOD damage. Informed he couldn't do any work unless he had airplane specific maintenance manuals in hand. Would not use faxed copies. When inquiring about this, he asked me to step outside (felt like I was about to get in a bar room brawl). When on the ramp mechanic was very confrontational and at one point came within 1 foot of my face with his. Told me he didn't want the liability of my airplane on his ramp. I asked to speak with manager in private. When told of incident, manager didn't apologize or even say he would look into it. First place I have ever felt my safety was in danger. The only FBO that I would NEVER return to again!!!

I have been flying out of Glendale for over a year now, and Glendale Aviation is top notch. I have been to numerous FBO's and none of them can even compare to the service level at Glendale Aviation. The Front desk staff is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help. I needed to get a hotel room last minute and they were able to get me a very nice room and at a very reasonable rate and the hotel was very close by. The fuel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and able to fuel me to my request even with my incoherent rambling. They even offered to wash my windows without me asking. Thank you Glendale Aviation you are the best.

Excellent service and facilities. James, the head of maintenance, is very knowledgeable and customer oriented. Fuel service was prompt and efficient, and the counter people are friendly and helpful. I recently came in with a 172SP and received the same level of courteous service as the Dallas Cowboys' team jet received, a Gulfstream G-V.

I ferried an Arrow from Glendale back to Texas and when I picked up the aircraft everyone was courteous, however the fuel service was horrendous. I asked for fuel then waited nearly 20 minutes before they pulled up to the aircraft even though there was no other aircraft on the ramp. I know it's hot, but as a line tech myself I see no reason for the long wait. From previous visits to the Phoenix area, I'm sticking with Deer Valley every chance I get.

The only bobble was when we arrived. No one was on the ramp, so I called on the Unicom saying we would be there several days. The reply was "tie down anywhere". No one came out, and despite two golf carts at the office we had to lug our baggage down the 110-degree ramp. When I got to the office I was surprised to see several people standing around behind the counter in the AC. Fuel service was fast and efficient, Hertz was super quick. The desk called a local CFI to get me information on my planned Grand Canyon trip. Nice folks, need to be a bit more service oriented. ** Two stars
Response from Martin Fitzpatrick, Glendale Aviation Glendale Aviation strives to provide all pilots with fast, courteous service. Glendale Aviation offers SELF SERVICE 100LL as well as TRUCK 100LL. We are the fuelers for the entire airport and as such there can be a wait while aircraft are TRUCK fueled on other parts of the airport. Just because there isn't visible fueling being done AT our facility, doesn't mean that our line personnel aren't busy on another part of the field. We apologize for any delay that may occur. Anyone that needs Quick Turn fuel, baggage assistance, parking assistance, hotel, rental car, etc., only has to notify our CSRs via 122.95 UNICOM as they approach the field, during taxi, or at Check-In and we will be happy to provide that assistance. We appreciate your business.

Stopped into look around, get some gas, and enjoy lunch at the airport cafe. Glendale Aviation's Jim, Claire, and James were extremely informative, answered all my questions, and are one of the friendliest groups of people on any airport I've been to. Excellent experience.

Fifteen months ago, I was an aspiring aviator. Went to Glendale Aviation, purchased an ICOM A23; listened to ATC calls from Glendale and Luke. The staff was courteous and friendly. Fifteen months later, I'm a private pilot working on both my multi and instrument rating. My plan? To fly to the airport that helped pave the way to my aviation career.
