Worked in the area for about a month and the service at SIG Aviation is the best! Doug, TC, and Chip are all great guys.

Visited on business today. Talked to Tom on the phone..Very nice man. Very accommodating. When we got there, Doug helped us out. What a 1st class guy and 1st class operation. Fuel was priced as good as you are going to find it, service was A+++ and the crew van "cornered like it was on rails"...The front end shakes at about 132 mph but the brakes are good so be careful! 8-)

We stopped here due to weather. The staff here was very friendly. As others have mentioned, the facility was modern and clean. We accepted the offer to use the courtesy car to take a short ride into town to eat. Thanks again for everything.

Stopped 13 November 2006 due to weather problems in Virginia and found personnel to be very helpful. Accommodations at the terminal clean and assistance in obtaining overnight quarters and transportation was outstanding.

First time in GWW. If you find fault in this FBO, you are the problem. Super service..... They could not be more accommodating. Look forward to my return.

I landed for fuel recently at GWW. On the ramp, I asked about the curent fuel price. I was told $4.04. When I went to pay, it was $4.32. I was quoted the pre-tax price! In 15 years of GA flying, no one has ever quoted me a pre-tax price. Had I known the price was actually $4.32, I wouldn't have purchased as much fuel as I did. We will not land at GWW again.
Response from Tom Kimbrough, FBO Manager, SIG Aviation Mr. Sarratt: I am sorry that your experience at SIG Aviation GWW in April did not meet your expectations. Please call me at your earliest convenience and allow me to correct the situation to your satisfaction. I look forward to hearing from you. (919) 734-7630

We spent a good portion of the day at GWW on Saturday the 4th. My co-pilot and I could not stop commenting on how nice it was to see a guy like Tom doing his thing. He had a vast interest in us and our needs as well as those of everyone who pulled up on the ramp or walked through the door. Even the airport "locals" were out and offered their interest in us. It is nice to experience this type of atmosphere as it has been ages since the last time I visited an airport where people actually cared and were interested in you and your needs instead of collecting the fees. Keep up the great work. We'll catch you next time.

GWW friendliness, professionalism and great attitude arrived at KSHD (Shenandoah Valley, VA) with Col. Jim, Tom and several others. I can see why there are so many positive comments on your site and hope we can serve our customers as you do yours. Thanks for visiting (I wish it were under other circumstances) - come back and God Bless. KLWilkes

We stopped at GWW and needed quick transportation and directions to a nearby town. TC had a car and map ready and we were on our way in about five minutes after deplaning. His neat, clean and well equipped FBO made the three hour stop a first class experience. Don't miss GWW and TC if you are in the area.

I've flown into GWW many times and can not say enough good things about this field. Every single time I've been met by the most friendly, hospitable folks I've met in almost 20 years in aviation. From the FBO, to the rentals, to the mechanics in the shop, I'll come back here as often as I can. The BBQ place at the end of the runway is worth stopping for lunch. I'd also grab the van and take the 10 minute drive over to the Air Force base (Seymour Johnson AFB, KGSB) and enjoy watching F-15Es beat up the pattern.

Living in NC, these are some of the nicest and most friendly people in Eastern NC. Fuel is reasonably priced. The line guys there for one reason--the customer. Highly recommended with no exceptions.
