Great little airport. Good instrument approaches. Reasonable fuel. LOTS of tie down spaces. Park at the approach end of 30 and walk through a gate to the edge of town (and the Mezza Luna restaurant which is GREAT! make reservations!) Bay Cities Taxi is 650.219.7971 (Joe) or 650.591.5400. Get your clearance at 916.361.0519.

Half Moon Bay is a fun little airport to fly into. The frequent fog makes it a good place to go and practice real approaches. You can get fuel and park in front of Three-Zero Cafe for great food. The crab cake eggs Benedict are my favorite. You can also park at the south end of the runway (follow the taxiways to the tiedowns in the far southeast corner) and there is a gate that leads right into town if you want to check out other restaurants. There are some good fish and chips places (I recommend Princeton Seafood).
