Great little airport. The staff is friendly and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to visit. Fuel prices are in line with others in the area.

What a great little airport this is. Runway, taxiways and tie-downs are in good shape. Easygoing airport manager will take good care of you. Tie-downs are $5/day for a single and avgas is priced pretty well. Due to terrain, Memphis center is a challenge to communicate with below about 3, 100' MSL. All in all, this a/p is a real asset to Heber Springs.

Landed here after a 10 minute IFR flight from KSRC. On approach had some Tom Turkey strutting on the centerline. The airport was vacant, but tie down easy to spot and accomplish. They topped off the plane while we fished and enjoyed the area. Had to stay an extra day due to weather en route (if you ever have to stay due to weather this is the place to do it) so threw $10 for tie down over the counter in envelope, left note for Dan to call me w/ how much I owed him for fuel and hoped that deer at other end of runway stayed off of the asphalt as we rolled for takeoff. Mailed him check for the amount to settle debt. Wildlife on arrival and departure, nothing fancy about facilities, but great service in the middle.
