I've stopped here at Galaxy Aviation for multiple checkrides, and the staff has always been a great help. No matter what the task is, they're always up for it. Thanks Galaxy!

In today in our Piper Saratoga N53582 and had 'best of' services from the entire staff. Fuel prices high though. Our car was brought planeside, fueled quickly and all services volunteered eagerly. Well-done folks. Thanks for your kindness.

Landed expecting advertised loaner car, hotel, and service. NO loaner car, NO Hotel within 15 miles, below average service & HIGH fuel prices/fees galore. Had to rent a car for $63 to drive 16 miles back to Craig, CO to the recommended hotel at "the airport rate" which was $10 higher than my AAA rate. Forced to either pay a "$20 facility fee" or buy fuel opted for fuel. Night line guys didn't understand what "only fill fuel in the right tank to the tabs" meant, so had to explain/show. Begged for a hangar as we had a 6am show, they said one wasn't available, so we'd have to pay a $28 de-ice fee in the morning. As expected, at 6am and 0 degrees Fahrenheit we couldn't even start up to get to the de-ice pad, & it took them 2 hours to clear space (could have been done much sooner) in the hangar to get us thawed out. AVOID if possible if you're GA. I'm sure they take great care of their jet customers - We were there before any turbine crews, and left after all of them. Garbage!!
Response from Don Kaplan, Regional Manager, Galaxy Aviation Mr. Taylor, we understand your frustration, but our company policy is to treat all customers equally without regard to the type aircraft they fly. Upon examination of our arrival cards and historical invoices, we show no prior reservation was made, and to make matters worse, we did not have any more space in the hangar when you showed up. The weather was well below freezing, and since the hanger was full with regular customers, it took some time before we were able to get your Cherokee in, at no charge, long enough to thaw out the aircraft. Normally there is a pre-heat charge. The distance of the hotels are listed in AirNav and the hotels set the rates we quote. We have crew vehicles available, but not for overnight use, as it takes away the use of the vehicles for other pilots. All said and done, the only receipt we could find for a non-fuel expense was a $15 charge for overnight aircraft parking.

Excellent line service - marshalling needed amid all the biz jets. Very prompt on fueling. Friendly staff. Gas isn't cheap though, plus overnight parking fee of $13/night for a single. But to hang out with the turbine crowd, you pay the price and get the same high level of service. Will return!

Great FBO, Fuel Price was reasonable for an FBO of this quality ($5.70/gallon). Nice facility, friendly staff, all helpful. My single engine sat amongst all those biz jets and I was treated just as well as they were. Thanks and I will surely return.

Great service and nice little FBO. They are on their game in regards to parking your plane and helping with baggage, etc. Nice solid FBO.

Landed HDN for a 5 day visit to Steamboat area. Great location. Spectrum was very helpful in parking and tie down was reasonable at $13/night for my small RV9A. Car rental (Avis & Hertz) are in the terminal next door. On departure SBS was IFR until mid morning while HDN was VFR.

I spend 63 nights a year in Steamboat (not by choice!) The Spectrum folks have done everything they can to assist my crew for 5 years. You need it, they'll bend over backwards to help. Keep up the good work.
