I fly to Havasu often and the crew at D2 always takes good care of my family and me. Really I think both FBO's are good but I am loyal and always go to D2 aero. A++++

D2 Aero is one of the best FBO's I have been to in many years! Jeff and the crew are very helpful and friendly. D2 Aero is exceptionally clean and the staff is quite courteous. Cold drinks and ice are available. It is always a pleasure to stop into D2 Aero!

I fly for a Large PART 135 Cargo airline and every time I fly in to D2 Aero they treat me great. Every single pilot in my company says the same thing. Meeting the aircraft with ice-cold water and the keys to their courtesy car. The best. Can't beat them.

Darin, on 07/10/08 we diverted to your airport due to weather (thunderstorms). Jeff Gardner was very helpful! I was shocked to see how nice your facility was. Not only that but they were keeping it open because the freight guys were also stuck there trying to get to Phoenix. I asked Jeff if he could fuel the plane and in the wind he did so before I could turn around he was out there in the wind fueling the plane. After checking the weather (after about 1-1/2 hours) we were able to make the short flight to IFP around the storms. I noticed that the freight guys were still stuck there and on our way out Jeff had set up the barbecue for them and was cooking some hot dogs. I have not been to Lake Havasu for years even though I am based in Laughlin. After that experience with Jeff and your facility we will be coming there more often. I just wanted to say thanks for everything, you were there when we need you and had a good time considering the circumstances.

Flew in the other night (July 3rd) to drop off some people. Even after hours, someone was still there, met me out at the plane, offered water, took the bags and drove us to the facility. Didn't get the employee's name but he was courteous and helpful. The popcorn and slurpies were great. Even gave me a couple bottles of water for the flight home. We need more FBO's like this who are customer orientated.

Flew in to D2, as I have many times in the past. Exceptional service and courtesy, and "slurpies" were great!

Stopped in to refuel at the self-service pump. I enjoyed a slushy and a coffee while my student fueled the plane. This place looks like a Tiki bar, what else needs to be said? Oh yeah, cheap fuel! Thanks for the visit!

I used to hang around D2 quite a bit and they're a solid outfit. Birgit and linemen are a great group of people who have fun helping customers and it shows. Heck, even the owner, Darrin, will fill up your plane, wash your windows and clean your lav if needed.

We were so happy to find D2 to be everything described here, and more. Our Vintage Mooney Group flew in 26 airplanes and 56 people. The line staff was friendly, courteous, funny, and went out of our way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend them without hesitation. The slushies are addictive! Thank you, we will be back.

I'm a UK pilot and flew in cross country in a rented 172 with a slight oil leak, was met by the 2 follow-me carts and went to D2 as we had been there 2 years ago. The FBO is really clean, cool and comfortable, with friendly service and we were lent the crew car while my aircraft was being fixed, all for no charge. As a UK pilot used to paying for everything (fuel $9/gal, landing fees $20 and up, approaches $30 and up each) I am amazed at the facilities at places like HII and FBOs like D2.

I flew in to KHII in mid-June and was met immediately by a "follow me" cart and helped to tie down. D2 provided the cleanest, newest FBO car I've ever seen, with a nice powerful air conditioner - the temperature was 108 that day. They were helpful, cheerful and attentive, with a nice facility.

I stopped into D2 last week for a fuel stop. The manager, Aaron pulled me right up front, and helped my wife and I. I stayed with the airplane, while Aaron drove my wife into town to get a t-shirt. My wife now refers to him as "Baby Duck" It's good to see an FBO like D2 bend over backwards for it's customers.

As a flight instructor I must renew several publications from time to time and I do not do credit cards on line so this becomes difficult. In the past I took advantage of trips to large metropolitan areas where pilot supplies are readily availably. I recently asked Birgit at D-2 if she could order any of these publications and she politely smiled and asked for the titles. She called me a day later and informed me that my order was in. I did not have to pay more than usual for these books and will include Birgit in my publication order from now on.

We stopped at the D2 Aero self-serve pump on April 26 and again on April 29. On both visits the line personnel and office staff were very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend stopping here for fuel.

As we taxied onto the ramp we were met by dueling "follow me" carts. Quick Unicom calls on two frequencies determined that D2's fuel was less expensive, so we followed their cart, and were very impressed by everyone there. The FBO is decorated with an "island" theme, all sorts of snacks are free (including slushies), and the people are all friendly and very helpful. I'm so glad we chose that particular cart to follow!

Excellent service provided by D2. Follow-me cart directed us to convenient parking. Loaned us a courtesy car for a quick trip into town. Very nice FBO facility with fast Internet connection. Gas price very reasonable. A+ experience.

Finally a FBO that knows what they are doing. After having a bad experience at Sun Western I went to D2. They are a little more expensive on fuel but you can see where the money goes. It goes into the service to the customer. There lobby is great, there is so mush free stuff for the pilots and the people there are great. They also have a free crew car. I would highly recommend D2 to anyone flying into Lake Havasu.

4-5 trips per year to LHC and always needed to inconvenience my customer or get a rental for a couple of hours. Only once since D2 opened have I needed a rental because of the helpful attitude of their staff. I much prefer D2 & the very nice atmosphere they have created to the original Chevron FBO who always seemed, just to busy to be much help for my Arrow & me. Great job D2.

I have to tell you. It is GREAT to finally have a professional FBO in Havasu. They come to the plane, the gas price is the same, the areas inside the FBO are terrific and the people are very nice. Funny how NOW the old FBO is trying to improve. But as I said, great people and a great facility (and the right price for gas)

Flew into D2 this past weekend. Very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby, follow-me carts, and employees. If you need a cab, be aware that they steer you to City Transit, which is public transportation. Cheap (cost $3 to get back to the airport from town) but it took over an hour from the phone call until we got to the airport.

Called both FBO's when in range for fuel prices. Turns out D2 is the only one with a GPU on the field. D2 was a little higher on the fuel, but the GPU is where it's at. Love Lake Havasu, but if my daughter ever says she's coming to "visit the bridge" we're going to have problems. See ya again soon.

Never before have I seen competing "FOLLOW ME" carts. I ignored them both and taxied to the self-service pump ... Nice FBO; free iced tea and DUATS access and the staff was almost comically eager to be helpful.

D2Aero is newer, cleaner, friendlier than Sun Western. D2 allows us to use the computer without having to be monitored by its employees. Their line guys have a personality, and are clean cut. They have a full flight planning room. A crew room, which you can sleep in, or watch a large supply of movies they have. They give you the TV remote, and you can watch what ever you want on TV. There is also wireless Internet...FOR FREE!!! They have a crew car with A/C and FM radio. Not a crew truck with manual roll down windows. It's worth the fuel price to go there, over Sun Western.

We visited Lake Havasu City on 4-18-06 for lunch and fuel. Great stop. We shared the crew car with other visitors, had a great lunch at the London Bridge (Micro Brew with a river view) and found D2 Aero our best stop ever. Super helpful! Great snacks and drinks. I love the Island Style Decor. We plan to stop at D2 Aero again.
