Probably the most amazing FBO we've ever been at, even without $3.95 fuel (still!). Mustang Mickey's has a large living-dining-kitchen area; the kitchen is fully equipped, anything in the fridge or pantry is fair game (people leave their leftover soda, pasta, condiments, what-have-you); there is a bedroom with two bunk beds (if you sleep over, strip the beds and remake them with clean sheets); 1.5 baths, stocked with towels and toiletries, and two loaner cars--sign them out and replace the gas. There is also a computer and printer, and wireless as well. Everything is clean and pretty new and well taken care of. All this at no charge! And tie-downs are free as well. We got stuck here with bad weather; if you get stuck, this is a good place for it. Many thanks to the owner, who makes this all available. We've seen a lot of FBOs--currently on a NY-Alaska-NY trip in a Warrior--we've had the plane into about 40 states--Mustang Mickey's at Beck's is the greatest!

Called Beck’s today and they are back open - they were only blocked off for 2-days not the thirty suggested in the prior message.

Beck's is unavailable for fuel due to airport construction for the foreseeable future; at least one month. When we were there on July 13th, nothing was happening on the construction, and we could easily have taxied in to the fuel island, but the airport has a zillion cones blocking the place. Maybe Exec Air has a deal with the airport to shut Beck down!

Wonderful place to stop over. We didn't even spend any money at Beck's, but Ted Beck let us use a crew car anyway, plus called the other FBO to get us hangar space and fuel (jet A, which Beck's doesn't carry) We left some of our picnic food and a case of bottled water in appreciation. Thanks, Beck's!

I have been landing at HLN and using Beck's for almost 10 years as I fly from Wisconsin to Seattle. Becks is convenient, clean, friendly and reasonably priced. Since I have to fill my own airplane at my home base, it is no big deal to pump my own as I travel. In summary, it is a great place to stop at for fuel and stay at if it is late in the day.

I am sure the other FBOs at HLN are great too... But We Keep coming back to HLN for Beck's...And the Mustang Mickey’s lounge... Once again we got caught by weather en route to northern Canada and spent a couple days... Lounge. Courtesy cars. All the comforts of home THANKS

I stopped in both on the way to Oskhosh and the way home. The fuel price is $3.19 and the self-serve pump was easy to operate and actually provides a receipt! They have free "crew cars" available if you purchase fuel and their facility includes computerized weather. Overall, a good fuel stop.
