We stopped at Stennis today for the first time in a year. The recommisioning of the tower did not diminish the quick turn nature of Stennis as a fuel stop. Line crew was fast and friendly, prices were excellent, FBO was clean. Four thumbs and one paw up.

We have been tenants on the airport for over four months now and are so grateful that the staff at Stennis Airport is so organized, helpful and specialize in customer service. You will really be amazed and should visit the airport if you are in the area - it is definitely worth your time!!!

We were parked 100 yards from the terminal building, with closer spaces available... I guess since we weren't in a jet our purchase of 100 gallons of 100LL didn't really matter to them. Fueling was very slow and line guys were not friendly at all and didn't use a fuel pad until I asked that they do. I had called a week before to reserve a rent car, calling unicom no one answered.. yep you guessed it no car!!! Was told that the passengers could use the crew car for $57.00 for the 2 hours that they needed it. No other choice.... Was given about the same level of service of most FBO's flying a C421C....... If it's not a jet they really don't care.

Self serve pumps very slow and receipt printer. Got a hand receipt from the attendant, terminal's A/C out of order.

On a recent flight to Stennis, bad weather didn't allow us to land at HSA and we had to land at Slidell. George arranged to get us to Stennis. What a great guy and service they provide at Stennis. It is always a pleasure to land there.

Great airport that has suffered a great deal from Katrina. But, they've come back, and deserve our business; if for no other reason, their spunk! Listen to the stories and see the pictures. Then thank God you didn't have to go through what they did. Runway in excellent shape and we were treated with customary Southern hospitality.

I have made 5 trips to Stennis. I have had nothing but great luck and good times there. This last trip I called about an hour before I got there on unicom and told them I needed fuel. There was no poblem with them staying a little later and they have a great deal on fuel! I will make sure that these guys get all of my buisness! Great FBO and Staff!!!

I have flown into HSA several times, before and since the hurricane. The airport management has always been nice to me. I can't understand why they went into business against their FBO! Mardi Gras Air did a great job right after the hurricane to make sure everyone was taken care of. Hancock actually took over part of the ramp that Mardi Gras was serving. This made it hard on pilots coming in to know what was happening. I still use Mardi Gras Air and will continue to do so. Shame on you Hancock!

As an Airport Manager for over 20 years I remain disappointed but not surprised that someone would pick sides without researching all of the facts. I will not, nor will I ask someone else to defame a viable business that provides competition on a federally funded airport.
